I was gonna give people a chance to catch up while I busy myself shooting and poor characters and dumping them out of airplanes……. but I think I’ll post the next section now.

You should make a photo copy of the sketch and try out the colors you have in your mind on that, and if you like it, then go for it, but if not, you have the backup. That’s what I always do. I never color the original, I like to keep a backup. Plus, colored pencils tend to smear when mixed with graphite.

@mineralizedwritings Oh gross I didn’t know they could be that bad. I used to pick up slugs all the time as a kid to take them out of the garden. (I washed my hands afterwards of course.)

Ok but actually that’s part of how I got diagnosed with autism. I was writing Ellie so much and realizing how much I related to her, and at the same time noticing how many autistic traits she had. So I started getting suspicious and researching it and then I finally asked my doctor and now here I am.

Spiders terrify me. They are kill on sight if they’re in my house. I wish I was brave enough to touch them and put them outside without hurting them.

But anyways, have you ever seen a banana slug?

They’re everywhere in Oregon and in the rainforests near Washington’s coast. I think they’re cute.
