@theliterarycrusader NOOOOO! Don’t put the poisoned raspberries in the trash! The squirrels might get into them! Or the possums! *falls to the ground* *cries desperately and melodramatically* Oops. Annnnd there was *my* crazy. Oh, well… At least we’re all even now. 😛

@northerner @theliterarycrusader *comes running in out of breath* I heard the words insurrection and poison! *quickly reads the last couple of posts*

@northerner Community college has been annoying from time to time, and as a fellow homeschooler, I understand the frustration for sure! But, for me, even when the classes and the education has been disappointing, I have learned so much from working on campus as an English tutor, a Spanish tutor, and an office assistant, and from meeting a person…[Read more]

@feedingmygoldfish, I like Amy Lowell too, what little I’ve read of her. I sympathize about the community college’s lack of options. I started at one of those, got fed up with it (apparently a home-schooler’s standards are way too high for American educational systems to satisfy), and started at another college that was closer to liberal…[Read more]

@theliterarycrusader *grins way bigger than the situation calls for* *realizes I do that all the time* *further realizes that’s probably why people think I’m bubbly* I just love how there almost isn’t a single person who know me but doesn’t know about my obsession with squirrels. (And other critters, for that matter…)

@rolena-hatfield Thanks for the warm welcome! I don’t think I could pick a color. My favorite squirrels are fox squirrels, which are a light brindled brown, but I adore black squirrels too. And then there are piebald squirrels. *eyes sparkle at the thought*

@emma-flournoy The weird thing is that, although I’m such an introvert, most people think I’m outgoing and bubbly in person. I guess it’s from working too many years as a clerk or a secretary. XD
@ethryndal @theliterarycrusader I agree. “Intense and passionate” is an accurate description of us INFJs. People frequently ask me, “Could you be…[Read more]

@feedingmygoldfish Same, not a tomboy, but definitely a book worm. And yes I am an oldest and my siblings say I am bossy. 😛 🙂
@theliterarycrusader @ethryndal So, what makes INFJ’s scary and ENFJ’s not so scary? I am an ENFJ and I have never been told that I am scary, though people have told me that I am intimidating….. -

@theliterarycrusader Do you have this uncanny knack at sounding totally convincing about something you haven’t the slightest clue about? XD

@Emma-Flournoy I missed the first sentence and thought you said you were an INFJ. I was like, wait, but you told me— XD Take heed, kids; This is why we don’t speed read.

@FeedingMyGoldfish Well hey, at least you don’t need to worry about being an introvert here, as it doesn’t really matter with online communication. I’m waaay less shy online than I am in person, and I’m pretty sure I’m not 85% introvert. 😛 It’s just…easier when the person isn’t actually next to you. For some terrible reason.
Wonderful that you…[Read more] -

@theliterarycrusader I used to be a 95% introvert, but then I started college and made a friend who wouldn’t let me get away with being *that* introverted. 😛 But yes, we definitely share a similar weirdness. XD
@ethryndal I’m sneaky like that. I show up quietly everywhere I go. 😛
I love how I’m kind of famous for my hypothetical goldfish. XD

@dragon-snapper I have not written any stories with a North American bird as a main character, but I do have a couple of stories with an avian supporting character. 🙂 I have at least one story idea stashed away that deals with the wild turkeys we have around our house and an escaped peacock.

*holds up Monopoly card* It says, ‘collect two cents from each of the players.’
So, I’ve had this little problem for maybe a year now. It worked okay for first person, but now that its third person, its gets trickier. The little problem in question, perhaps not as little as that, is favoritism.
Generally speaking, I have two main characters. The…[Read more] -
