    @theacornman I was forced into doing drama and discovered I loved it. You get to experience a character in a whole new way-you *become* them. You have to know every intimate detail about them. To this day, I act out my character’s emotions when I am trying to determine how to describe what they are feeling.
    At the same time, I understand that…[Read more]

    @daeus *collapses with relief* oh good, good, good!!! 🙂 I seem to be a minority when it comes to writing, at least around here.
    @theacornman whoa!!! that’s very interesting!! I think I know what cornwall is…. :{

    @theacornman Oooo, sequels! Fun fun fun. All the best on persevering. I don’t know when it is releasing, but Kingdom Pen has a lovely and immensely helpful ebook on time management for Christian authors that has really given me perspective. I would highly reccomend it. @daeus @aratrea @sarah-spradlin Do you know when it is coming out?
    Hmmm, well,…[Read more]

    @theacornman Welcome to KP! Glad you found us. 🙂

    I’ll refrain from asking you any questions since most of the other Keepers have done that already.

    @theacornman Welcome to the bestistest place on the internet! That’s awesome that you’re a Brit. I’ve just been waiting for one of you to show up. 🙂

    So does your story has a vengeance plot? Those are some of my favorite. I’m starting to really like fantasy too.

    @theacornman I would have to agree with you, it does have a lot of uniqueness and diversity.
    I guess when I say it would be boring I’m thinking more in a political history (like how monarchies work and more subtopic stuff like that but Britain as a whole is very interesting.) I have english blood so I guess I should be more interested. :D…[Read more]

    @theacornman Ah no American history isn’t boring if your american. I’m sure I’d find british history extremely boring if I studied it 😀 Well it 3:00 if you go by eastern time but I’m in central time so it’s 2:00 wow a 6 hour difference!

  • bethanys.inky.roses replied to the topic Hi in the forum Start HERE 7 years, 7 months ago

    @theacornman Sounda like great fun!! I’ve always been attracted to characters struggling deeply morally and emotionally. 🙂 Do you have a climax determined?
    Yes, I’m really excited! Yes, there are no alternate races or magic or new worlds or portals-not because I’m against those but because they just don’t belong in this story. I do plan on…[Read more]

    @theacornman I’m not sure but I think maybe. Is that redundant??? 😛 Oh that’s a good time-period I have a friend who LOVES that time period.

    Hail, @theacornman! *throws confetti* Welcome to the ranks of the KeePers. 😀 Your novel sounds awesome, I must say. Fantasy is my favorite. Becouse all the other questions have been asked, are you a dog person or a cat person?

  • Hannah replied to the topic Hi in the forum Start HERE 7 years, 7 months ago

    @theacornman yes the war for independence do they call it something different in Britain??
    *crazy grin as I realize how fun this going to be.* 🙂

  • Ingrid replied to the topic Hi in the forum Start HERE 7 years, 7 months ago

    @theacornman
    No, I’m American. I wondered because my family visited England last summer. Do you live more in the country or city.

  • Snapper replied to the topic Hi in the forum Start HERE 7 years, 7 months ago

    @theacornman Wait? You’re british? Awesome! I believe that you are our first person from Britain. Congratulations! *shakes hand vigorously again*
    I have to ask though…do you in Britain ever imitate American accents?

  • Snapper replied to the topic Hi in the forum Start HERE 7 years, 7 months ago

    @theacornman Greetings, writer and fellow lover of sci-fi and fantasy! Always happy to greet other writers! 😀
    *shakes hand far too vigorously*
    So, would you rather write your book by typing with chopsticks, or writing it on paper with the hand that you don’t use? (i.e if you’re right handed, you’d use your left-hand.)

    I write science fiction.…[Read more]

    @theacornman
    So…I have to ask. Where in Britain do you live?

  • Hannah replied to the topic Hi in the forum Start HERE 7 years, 7 months ago

    @theacornman all periods but right now I’m in the revolutionary war… it’s complex because I’m writing about a girl who leaves america for England just before the war starts.

  • Hannah replied to the topic Hi in the forum Start HERE 7 years, 7 months ago

    @theacornman Oh cool! Lol no I’m American. 🙂 Neat! Mostly Historical fiction, but I’ve completed a modern action story, and have a series of allegorical short stories in the works.
