I was asking if anyone had any thoughts on the soundness of writing people that aren’t humans, and also while there are are humans present.

I am in the U.S. in the middle of the east coast.  It’s a good place to have less cold than some states and less heat than others.  Though right about now I’m wishing there was more heat! 🙂
