@supermonkey42 If you want to start watching Doctor Who, I would start in the 1970s with Jon Pertwee/Tom Baker (especially Baker). And if you can’t find it or access it (it’s very hard to access the classic series), you can start with Christopher Eccleston, which is the first Doctor of the current series
A great reading recommendation: THE…[Read more]

@supermonkey42 Chirrut was awesome. I wasn’t a huge fan personally of Rogue One, but Chirrut was easily my favorite character. That scene where he chanted his Force anthem like a creed while being shot at was so awesome.

@supermonkey42 welcome!!!!!! Its pretty cool that you speak Mandalorian. I have a friend who can who speak Mandalorian, Elvish and whatever the language from Dr Who is. I think she’s kind of crazy, but I admire both of you!
I, uh, I have never seen Stars Wars. Ever. Except for the lego version. *grimaces* -

So very welcome, @supermonkey42!! My name’s Dekreel. Glad you’re here! 😉
SO, you’re a huge Star Wars fan? I’m more of a Doctor Who fan, but I also like Star Wars. 🙂 I need to watch it again. I liked Episode 7, and am excited about episode 8! Have you seen Rogue One? Is it any good? -

@supermonkey42 Welcome, welcome, welcome! KP is great and you’re gonna love it.
I’m gonna refrain from mentioning my own opinions on Rogue One, because, as @kate-flournoy knows…I have it out for that movie. Anyway.
Are you left-handed or right-handed?

@supermonkey42 Gottcha. I’d say it’s pretty varied here… but I write fiction and fantasy.
(And I just HAVE GOT TO SAY. Go. Read. Harry. Potter. Right. Now. Please at least read them. The movies are awesome too, but the books are just spectacular. You will not be disappointed. 🙂 ) -

@supermonkey42 YOU LIKED ROGUE ONE??? *tears of happiness* THANK YOU FOR EXISTING.
*dissolves into helpless laughter* Sorry… sorry. Ahem. It’s cool. I’m fine. Congratulations. I loved that movie but it seems like no one else saw what I did when I watched it… Chirrut was pretty cool. 🙂

@supermonkey42 welcome fellow Star Wars fan! (Though if you speak Mandalorian you’re probably a whole lot more hardcore than I am. 😛 ) Don’t ask me how excited I am about the Last Jedi unless you want explosions and other untoward and unpredictable disasters, but I will say I’m happy to see someone else excited about it as well. 😀
Also, I…[Read more]
