@rolena-hatfield Thank you. Praying buddies are the best thing in life. If you want I could get @spradlin to send you my personal email so we could prayer request to each other if you want. Don’t have to. Just an idea. 😀

@overcomer, great idea! 😀 Now I have a place to list all my writing troubles! Ah, yes!
Well, since everyone else is saying what they’re working on… right now I’m trying to figure out a name for a blog I’m thinking of starting. It will be mostly for writing book reviews and the occasional article here and there. Eventually I’d like to post…[Read more]

Awesome, @spradlin! Very inspiring. That’s something I personally struggle with remembering, so it’s a good one to keep in mind. 🙂

Yay @spradlin! Sarah I’m so excited that you’re starting a blog! It’ll be the highlight of my day to read it and keep me smiling 🙂 (probably more like rolling on the floor in laughter, but seriously I can’t wait for you to post your first “note”) Keep us updated!

Wonderful @spradlin!
Though I have a hard time imagining a bard singing something like this in a tavern… more like at a funeral. 😛

The Author’s Staccato(s), maybe? 😛 Uh… Staccato… Umm… Wow. 😐 I’ve been reading this topic for a while now, and let me just say – @spradlin, I totally get why you’re beating your head against the wall. This is insanely hard (and I only just started 😛 🙁 )

I think Staccato Notes could work, @spradlin. Double meaning, y’know. 😉

Whoa! I LOVE that idea. @spradlin. I love sing Staccato. It is really fun and uses a lot of tummy muscles. Do you sing? I do. I’m in the soprano range which is very special. (I just have to remember to practise.)

Sticky Notes.
Notes of Harmony
Whole Notes
Notes from a Composer
(So those above involve music. I’ll see if I can think of some different ones later) 😀 -

Hm, yes @spradlin… though that might more denote (get it? Denote? *sigh* Okay, that was really bad) a… community for sharing noteworthy thoughts than a blog of just one person’s noteworthy thoughts.
I don’t know… thoughts?
Yes. I did just use ‘thoughts’ way too many times in one paragraph.

Ah— gotcha @Daeus. Thanks so much.
Yes, I know what you mean… it’s funny, but I’ve tried over and over and over to poeticize (like my made up word? 😛 ) about an object, but for some reason I can only do it about really deep thoughts. Concepts, if you will. Like with this one, I wanted to take the word ‘love’, which is so commonly misused…[Read more]

We were posting at the same time @spradlin! 😀
Thanks for the pointers— I can see how that would be a problem, definitely. Would it work, do you think, to cut each line in half, where most of them have a slant rhyme with the middle of the prior line?

Sweet! It’s about time you got a blog, @spradlin! 😉
Hmm… Notecards & Novelists maybe? I’ll keep thinking. -

@spradlin Are you talking about a title for your blog or a title for a blog post?

Thanks, @spradlin ! That was what I was going for when I wrote it . . . I think.
Really, I just sat down on the edge of my bed with writing materials and the intention to write a poem. No inspiration struck, so I looked around my room for it. My eyes fell on my typewriter. It’s a Remington Deluxe Model 5 that I had affectionately named…[Read more]
