@anne-of-lothlorien I’m 10,273 words into NaNo right now. It’s… coming. The biggest thing that helps me is breaking it into 500 word chucks, because I can write 500 words in 20-30 minutes. @daeus Well, I don’t hate it, but it is not an option for me. I can’t do webinars, and as discussed in the Mind of a Writer, I hardly talk about my books. The Forum that exists is pretty much as far as I can go.

@Sierra-R The 2012 adaptation of the musical? I’m glad to hear it’s accurate…my parents tried watching it some time ago and I think they didn’t even finish it because they didn’t like it. I think it was because everything was sung. But I’m glad to hear it’s in some measure accurate. 🙂

@Anne-of-Lothlorien I SO know what you mean with all that Merry and Pippin and Sam stuff!! Totally with you there. I may not always actually tear up, but I feel it so much.

The criticism is probably going to be the worst part of writing for you and me, then. I take pain when people don’t like something. Of course, I could never let anyone know that, because then it would be a weakness to me. Can’t. Show. Them. Anything.
