Write about a shy protagonist who really likes cake but is afraid to tell his family because they are all extremely vegan.
@Winter-Rose that would be so cute!
And @Ethryndal, the extrovert who’s invisible— 😀 XD 😀
@Dragon-Snapper what about a school for dragons—it’d have dragon youngsters and courses on all things dragon, and dragon teacher…[Read more]

@Ethryndal Late to the party, but @Christi-Eaton‘s right about his name. 🙂
I’m starting to consider Rodyn having several different titles. Like, to the common people, his name would be something that reflects a spark of hope, even though they don’t really know who he is. The villains refer to him as something of a nuisance or a threat. And the…

I’m Ravenclaw. 🙂 I took the test on Pottermore (the best one out there; you can also find out your wand type and your Patronus). 😉
The movies are very, VERY well done, but, of course, the books are better (movies never can beat books, though they’ve tried many times and even come close). 😀
Oh, that’s cool you draw your…[Read more] -

@dragon-snapper
No, don’t melt my cookies! Give me cookies or give me death (okay, maybe that’s a little too extreme). 😉 😛 -

Hi! I’m the extremely late person who would like to welcome you to KP.
Formally, that is, hullo and welcome to KP! You’re KeePer now (although, it sounds like you already were…but that’s a minor detail). 😉 Okay, let me just say…J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, and J.K. Rowling YESSSSS (preciousss)!!!!!!!! I actually just finished…[Read more] -

@Dragon-Snapper You could write about an ultimately awesome dragon who melts peoples’ chairs…no seriously! If you’d like to write comedy!
But I’ll think more and pop back in if a really good one strikes. -

@Ethryndal Okay, no one wants the disappointment of Toothless for the rest of their life. 😛
And Lord of the Rings geek compulsion…I can’t imagine what that’s like. (*coughcoughcough*)
@Dragon-Snapper I haven’t read them…I’ve only seen the 1st HTTYD movie. Don’t melt me.

I’ve read it now too. A book with heart to it is right, @Daeus. (Obviously, since you don’t say un-right things. 😉 )
It’s very, very good. Certainly unusual, but a thinking book as Kate said, and I love those. - Load More

@Emma-Flournoy. Aww, thanks. We were going to go to the Academy of Arts production of Prince Caspian in South Carolina, but the performance we were going to up being canceled due to bad weather. So it’s kind of an indirect answer to prayer, because now we can exchange our tickets for a later performance when, Lord willing, Mom will be feeling b…[Read more]
Oh, well that’s good. In a way, of course. 🙂
I hope she’ll be better soon, and I’ll keep praying for y’all.
I assume that production’s a play? That sounds like so. much. fun!
Yeah, it’s a play. Last year, they did one of The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe and it was SO GOOD. LWW being one of my favorite things ever (book and movie), I wasn’t expecting much, but they really did an incredible job on it. So good, in fact, that Doug Gresham actually flew over from England for the premiere of PC. I thought that was kind of neat. 🙂
SO. MUCH. FUN!!
I don’t know who Doug Gresham is, but that sounds significant. 😛
Oh, sorry. Doug Gresham is C. S. Lewis’s step-son. He’s kind of significant. 😉
@Ethryndal OH!! Yeah, that sounds significant. 😛 Wow.
