In response to your questions you asked while I was writing that, 😉
No, no wars. Yet. A huge battle at the end is all the war that goes on in this book. The third book is the war book. They are both from islands that are not part of the official continent, and the environment is rather like the American Midwest, mostly normalish.
And yes,…[Read more]

Ok, what I’m asking for is things Amber and Brendan can do to move the plot along and complete their mission. I have some things I want to be part of the story:
– They have to go through each kingdom/country/place looking for the prince.
-They fight bad guys at several points in the story, and also they fight the dangerous creatures…[Read more]

Hi @princessfoo ! I’m Aislinn, and I have always wanted to write a portal fantasy where the people actually know what they’re doing and aren’t like, “I’m dreaming! This isn’t real! Oh, it is real? I have no idea what I’m doing!!!!” If I went to another world, I would just win it like a boss. 😉

Loves it!!!
Nice job, @dragon-snapper !IF YOU WERE TO MAKE ANOTHER SEQUEL…….
Is there the slightest possibility I could cameo? I like dragons and chocolate and referencing all the things I am nerdy about (LotR, Star Wars, AiO, Princess Bride, and a bunch of other things we don’t need to mention) and SWORDS!!!

Aislinn Mollisong replied to the topic Master and Apprentice–Don't Turn to the Dark Side in the forum General Writing Discussions 9 years ago
Hmmmm… everyone made some pretty good suggestions. I would go for the one @graciegirl suggested, with having the master’s job be his title. Or, maybe, if the hypothetical master wasn’t a “master”, more like a guy-who-has-an-apprentice, he could be called a journeyman?

Hello, everyone! Aislinn here!
So, in my “Hi! I’m Aislinn!” topic, I explained the basic outline and idea of this. (I also posted my inadequate first chapters, but we don’t need to discuss that. 😉 )
But I need help. We’ll talk about the first book first, since that’s the one I’m working one.
Title: Embers Burning.
Setting: Leifer, a…[Read more] -

@catwing *laughs* Poor dog. My German shepherd doesn’t have outfits, but I did put one of my own hoodies on him. Sort of. He didn’t like the hood either, and I didn’t try to push his arms into the sleeves – he would not have liked that. XD I’d like to see some of your dog’s pictures you drew, if you want to share them. 🙂

Wow! This is deep! I’ve never thought of this before. Perhaps, though this might not work, the prince and princess would be actually lying, saying they were relatives of the family or whatever you were going to have them say. The family maybe doesn’t know that the MCs are saying this for a while, and when they find out about it they teach them…[Read more]
