@catwing Hi. 😀 You can join us on our character questioning if you’d like. 😉
Rin hasn’t really given it any thought, Vega would like to someday, Nym hasn’t thought much about it either, Taro wouldn’t even entertain the thought, and Uma…well, she’s a mystery…I’ll have to think on that one.
What fantasy-type pet would your…[Read more]

haha, they actually don’t! 😀 I almost never come up with middle names, unless it’s needed in the story. *suddenly starts looking up futuristic names*
If your characters had a job in our world, what would it be?

@seekjustice Oh, they’re two new characters I added to my dystopian (I don’t think I’ve told anyone about them yet). I’ll be doing a blog post about it at the end of October where I tell a bit more about them. 🙂
Rin would rather visit a snowy region, since she’s used to the chilly weather of Chicago. For Taro, probably the dessert, cuz it’s…[Read more]

Recently I’ve had a fascination with freestyle poems, because they don’t follow any specific pattern or form. I just recently wrote one, one that I was hoping to submit to some website possibly (maybe even SE).
The thing is, I don’t know much about writing poetry, and I would love it if anyone had any suggestions they wanted to give. 🙂

Who in their family is your character closest to?
Rin was closest with her parents, but since they disappeared, she’s probably closest to her best friends Vega and Nym, who are like family to her.
Your question: Would your character rather eat a bowl of melted ice cream or eat a frozen cheeseburger? (yes, randomness…I’m tired 😛 )

@seekjustice hmm, that’s odd. I’ll keep praying for him, and that the doctors can figure things out soon.
Sure! (we could even just do ‘would you rather’ questions for the characters???)…
What new hobby would your character be most likely to try?

I just had an idea…what if we threw random questions back and forth about our current WIP’s main character(s), since we can’t word war at the moment? 🙂

I’m glad you can spend some time with your mom. I’ll keep praying for your dad too.

@seekjustice Oh, that’s so cool!
It is very similar to the American lists, but not identical by any means. 😉
I’ve got to disappear for a bit, but I’ll be back in perhaps 45 min or an hour, if you’re still here.

@seekjustice I see. 🙂
I’ve found a few Australian authors from the time period. Some of their books are on Gutenberg, so you could look them up if you’re interested. I have no idea whether they’re good or not, but I strongly hold that the absolute best way to research for a historical time period is to read stuff actually written in the time p…[Read more]
