I don’t know whether or not that’s true, @sarah-h, but it sounds like an excellent theory. You’re right about how John almost hides his identity.

I like it. But I do agree with @Sarah-h. Polite, doesn’t quite seem to fit with gentleness. Maybe placid or quiet.

I looked up about forms of poetry and it’s rather similar to a cinquain, but that has the fourth line longest.

@sarah-h I’d love to read it. I am really beginning to like visual poetry. As Daeus pointed out, this one wasn’t visual poetry, but I’m going to keep trying.

Have you read Joyfully at Home, by Jasmine Baucham? It’s really good.

And another one I HIGHLY recommend is It’s (not that) Complicated, by Elizabeth and Anna Sofia Botkin—that one was extremely helpful and encouraging for me.

@sarah-h That’s totally amazing. God is wonderful.
I think youth events are great. It’s so much nicer when you can be with other Christian people like yourself. It’s one thing I miss a lot, as I live in the country with no close Christians nearby.
At least KP allows me to be with people even if it is over the internet. 🙂

@clairec & @sarah-h How are you going? I just finished a book called Raising maidens of virtue, by Stacy McDonald. It a wonderful book, and I’m not sure I would have read it, if I had still been reading fiction.

@sarah-h deleting the bolded part seems to be the popular opinion around here, so I’ll probably do that.

@Kate-flournoy I’m not sure what to say to such a recommendation. Hmm, do you think it will look good in the review section on the back of a book? 😉
