@Ethryndal YES. All that. Poor Fili. *sniff* I think I cried over it, but even if I didn’t there was shocked screaming inside. (*lowers voice even more confidentially* And I’d have preferred it if Fili and Kili died the same way as they did in the book…that’d have been so much sweeter. Defending Thorin with shield and body and all that. But of…[Read more]

@Daeus Ah wait—he’s a Sith because he’s dealing in absolutes by saying unequivocally that “Chancellor Palpatine is evil!” and “Then you are lost” ?
How close to the mark did I come… -

*shrug* I wouldn’t know…
But @Daeus that sounds like Obi-Wan’s saying you’re lost if you think Jedi are evil…how does that prove he’s a Sith? He’s defending the Jedi, which doesn’t mean he is one, but how does it make him a Sith? (Try and ignore my ignorance. 😛 ) -

@Ethryndal So much fun, and not to be missed for sure (an INTJ is giving me puppy eyes. What has the world come to.), but we don’t want to give the impression it’s all bad and so discourage anyone who’s not seen it from DOING SO! Do we now. *severe eyebrows*
Yes Bilbo! And Thorin! And lots of things which totally made the cheesy lines worth it. :D…[Read more] -

@Kate-Flournoy *gigantic eyeroll* That’s a compliment.
I like the guy too after all, even if I’m not as vocal ’bout it… (and ‘like’ is an understatement. ;))@Ethryndal That’s wonderful. 😀
Our dad thinks we’re crazy. That’s been the subject of many a heated debate between him and Kate—the Darth Vader devotee and the Kylo Ren freak. -

That’s really neat. I’m not a wordsmith but I like tests like this. My result was ‘Your total vocabulary size is estimated to be: 26,500 words.’
Neato.
Congrats for your own topic. 😀 -

@Ethryndal Dat must be it.
@Sierra-R Hey, it’s okay, I adore that music too. Even if it’s associated with some silly lines. Not all their lines were sappy anyway…they got crazier as it went, but they weren’t all bad.
The Hobbit movies still have TONS of awesome stuff in them, even if they have a fair amount of unawesome stuff. Trust me, I…[Read more]

So I had a post typed out to respond to you earlier, and somehow my computer lost it. And then I forgot to respond. My apologies. 🙂
Anyway, here are some of your questions answered:-If you want to meet with someone to have a good chat, do you go to a coffee shop or some other place?
I’m sure there are coffee shops in England,…[Read more]

@Sierra-R But now whenever something hurts so much, you can say why does it, and your sibling can reply Because it was real! and you can have a good laugh. (Or groan.) 😀 That makes stubbing toes a lot funner.
At least Thranduil was well-acted, though he had some stupid things to say.
Something else that makes me groan is the Aragorn…[Read more] -
