@jenwriter17 I’m not entirely sure about the drawing tablet; they tend to be quite expensive (the one I’m looking at is about $100), but it would be an interesting investment and it would make shading a lot easier.

@sarah-anson WOAH! *falls out of chair* Now I’m intrigued: can you post Firemaster sometime? That art is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good!  What specific manga style do you draw? (i.e. shoujo, shonen, bishie, etc.)

@dekreel Oh yeah, I usually do the head first too, to get a general idea of the size, but because my proportions are usually off, the head size usually ends up changing.

But seriously, you should animate your drawings, and make an anime show!!

@perfectfifths  I draw the head first, then I do a “nude sketch” of the body and posture (obviously undetailed), and then do the clothing form there.

@sarah-anson Those are really good. (It is VERY hard to find good ones. I did find some that are adaptions of classics. The series is Manga classics, published by Udon. So.)
