IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: I have selected three main characters for the KPA!
Presenting…
@princessfoo, @sam-kowal and Stan!!

Sorry to both of you for any inconsistensies in this drawing. 🙂
All the rest of you will be supporting characters, all in an army, like Bilbo and the dwarves! I will do my best to make all your characters as big…[Read more]

@sam-kowal! Haha, totally get the photographer memo! I’ll also be like, “Yeah, look at this 50mm lens I just got!” and my older brother will be like. “Um… cool?” 🙂
Just wondering, is Sam your full name? Wasn’t sure if it was short for something. Like I sometimes go by Dassah short for Hadassah. Aren’t nicknames great? 🙂

@sam-kowal I can see how it must be fun to have Stan as a dragon. 😉

@daeus if you’re still trying to decide…what about “The Ink Institute”? (Off of @sam-kowal’s idea)

I have just officially read Harry Potter for the first time!! I read the first book, “The Sorcerer’s Stone,” and it was very good! Not quite as widespread or diverse as the Wingfeather Saga, but still an excellent read! I liked it a lot. I…[Read more] -

@waterlily @dekreel and @sam-kowal have some good advice. There’s also more than one way to do a third person pov. There’s omniscient point of view, as if the author is God who can see and know everything, hear and read everyone’s minds. That can be confusing to read if it’s not written well. An author who pulls it off successfully would be John…[Read more]

@sam-kowal Alright, I won’t invite him lol. (DUCK!!) Although he’d make a great percussionist, for what it’s worth! Am I mistaken?
@waterlily Cya later! 😉

@destiny I have never been to Aethasia (or played the game). Is Bootleg Pass a peninsula? So No Man’s Landing is in the Pass?
I used a very very very cheap computer program called KolourPaint.
@catwing is traveling in the Writer’s (@inkling-for-christ ‘s) TARDIS along with @emily. (In case you don’t know, a TARDIS is basically a s…[Read more]

@waterlily Hmmm… Good question. Is this for the sci-fi NaNo you were talking about? 🙂
If you do first person, then you can basically get a full-on view of what the character is thinking. So you’re more inside his/her head, seeing what (s)he is seeing, feeling what (s)he is feeling. But that also means that the movement of the reader is…[Read more]

@sam-kowal! Hi! Nice to meet you 🙂 🙂 🙂
I love photography! My lenses are: 75-300 zoom, 50mm, and 18-55! Almost the exact same as your brother’s! I’ve been looking into more advanced lenses lately, but they’re SO expensive! I guess I’ll just have to wait for Black Friday sales and stuff LOL 😉
Thanks! I really like looking at that spiderweb…[Read more]

@0-0enyali0-0 Oooh! That’s a good question! Others might have better answers than me, but let me try…
So it sounds to me like you’re describing every detail of what’s going on in the battle by itself. That tends to sound like a school lecture if you describe a dramatic scene from the outside without looking at how the characters are feeling…[Read more]

@dragon-snapper @shannon @sam-kowal @kate-flournoy Thanks.
Thanks. The one argument in favor of Excelsior is that people don’t have to know what it means right off the bat. I’m not selling the school, I’m just going to sell courses. (Shannon, Excelsior means “onward”. It connotes perseverance and victory.)
That said, I could think of a few…[Read more]

😀 😀 AWESOME
Yeah, I really like Harry Potter. I read the first book when I was around seven so its been with me for awhile
The first book is really good, and it gets better as you go on. The whole series kind of changes, actually, by book 7 its a lot deeper, going along with how Harry gets older
😀 😀 What was your favorite part of the book? Or…[Read more]
HAHA How did Fluffy and Stan become friends?? So you know Hagrid?
My favorite character issssssss…. probably Harry lol. But I really like Ron and his brothers, too. I like it when Harry is on his broom, like when he’s playing… Quiderrich? Is that what it is? Quidditch? Something like that.
What’s your favorite part?
Long story… Fluffy wasn’t always under Hagrids care, and Stan met him at an underground magical creatures market… and they became really good friends. It involved lots of raspberries, Stan plugging up Fluffy’s ear so his captors couldn’t lull him to sleep, and eventually they both escaped.
Yeah, Harry’s my favorite too. I do like Hermione…[Read more]
Glad you liked it! I’ve never read it myself, but I believe @princessfoo knows a thing or two about it. 😉
I LOVE Harry Potter!
