@dragon-snapper YAY CONGRATULATIONS!!! And needless to say, that is pretty amazing. Good job on being disciplined!
*brings frozen yogurt* (I’m wondering why a fire-breathing dragon would want ice cream. If you think about, it’s kind of counter-intuitive — @sam-kowal) and please don’t melt my chair it was an innocent question…[Read more]

@jenwriter17 Thanks! I like using a British accent too, but I mostly do it when I’m singing, rather than talking. 🙂
@radically-surrendered and@skredder I’m glad you liked them! As I said before, their sole purpose is to make people laugh. 🙂
@sam-kowal Hahahaha!!! 🙂 Which one did you like best?

@sam-kowal And I’m thrilled to meet Stan! I, too, am a dragon lover.
Urban fantasy is mostly different from high fantasy in that you have to world-build differently, and do a lot of research. Also, it can be hard to find a way to weave magic into the real world that isn’t super overused. And I’ve noticed the characters are different. They talk…[Read more]

@sam-kowal Yes, Ginger was talented in many areas. She was an especially good comedienne.
You know so much about classic film stars – do you watch classic movies much?

@sam-kowal Ehhh….they kinda can’t be forbidden, as they are the national animal and almost everyone has one. But! That could come in handy in the third book! Especially because he’s the Dragon-boy….*rubs hands together evilly*

@sam-kowal Yes, all dragons should be like Stan. Stan is the best. 😉 That’s actually a really good idea with the Dulaman. I’m trying my very hardest not to make them Orcs but….ya know. If they did have something that would make them a bigger threat, (such as being able to neutralize dragons) they would be a lot better as henchmen in general.…[Read more]

Hi, everyone!
I’m looking for input on character consistency. In every story (long or short) that I write, I like to have a character who’s generally optimistic and lighthearted, and who sometimes even provides the comic relief. However, a lot of my story plots tend to get more and more intense as they go. Does anybody have any advice for keeping…[Read more]

YES! The sequel to Sector One is finally done. The name is SECTOR ONE: THE DRAGON MAST. And it is 96209 words, the longest book I have ever written.
Three books.
I have now written three books.

@sam-kowal That was Ginger Rogers, all right. 🙂 Actually, at the beginning of their career Fred Astaire said something like “Ginger couldn’t dance, but she was such a great actress she made you believe she could.” That has to be taken with a grain of salt, of course, considering the fact that his previous dancing partner was his sister who he…[Read more]

@Sam-Kowal 4 projects? Zikers, how do you manage? 😛 I only have two that I seriously work on and it’s enough to blow my mind some days. XD
Fantasy is my favorite genre too! My main project (codename Personification) is an epic fantasy about spies and people with special abilities. 😀
But lately, I’ve become more and more interested in sci-fi…[Read more]
