@sam-kowal @jenwriter17 Funnily enough your posts came at 3:00am for me 😛 (However, I do occasionally wake up at 3:40 and ponder how our descendants will summarily execute people 😂)
@sam-kowal the idea of mass execution by gas sounds very effective, I don’t think it could be safely done in public though. So I might have to rule that out. That…[Read more]

@Sam-Kowal aw cool.
WELL PERFECT TIMING FOR THAT QUESTION. I actually just finished reading The Way of Kings a few days ago and I’m planning on starting Words of Radiance soon. I don’t normally read epic fantasy books so I was reluctant to try these ones but @Hope and my sisters ganged up and convinced me to give them a shot. And I’m absolutely…[Read more]

@seekjustice I was thinking the same think as @sam-kowal I forgot how different Australia time is from the USA. I was like “3 o’clock in the morning!” 😜
Sequel to Stars Fill Infinity?! *fangirls*
hmm…..you could take the more advanced executions we have in the world today and go from that. Electric chair maybe, or another form of electricity.…[Read more]

@seekjustice Talk about a gruesome topic…
What about firing squads? Or… Locking someone in a room and sucking out all the oxygen? Or… I got nothing… Not the kind of thing I mull over. XD 😉
@sam-kowal When you said killer ray, Sam, I immediately of the invisible ray the Martians used in The War of the Worlds by H. G. Wells. This is not a…[Read more]

Calling all Kaapeefers!
I’m plotting the sequel to the novel I just finished writing and it is inspired by the French Revolution, but set 147 years from now. What sort of form of execution might we be using in place of a guillotine?
Please let your imagination run wild 😛

@livgiordano I know what you’re talking about in Revelations. I was thinking about that too, and I’ve seen it done in movies at least twice and maybe in a book too. Does that mean I should probably not do it?
@radically-surrendered Thank you! I’ll think about the chip thing, I think I’ve seen it done a few times already.
@sam-kowal I agree, I’ve…[Read more]

@sam-kowal That’s so cool! I feel like there is a story idea somewhere in this…
You know you are a writer when you get story ideas from hearing cool facts.

@Sam-Kowal hmm yes probably. It depends if it’s in a contemporary/dystopian/futuristic sort of setting.
SAME THOUGH. Agh. So epic.
Ooh yes yes that would be amazing. Have you read The Rithmatist?

You know you are a writer when someone asks you what you do for fun, and you say, “writing,” but what you really meant to say was, “Going back and forth between being completely in love with my characters and story, and wanting to chase plot bunnies.” XP
You know you are a writer when you watch Monsters Inc. for the first time in a long while,…[Read more]

@Sam-Kowal Technically you can narrow down all Speculative Fiction into either Fantasy or Sci Fi to be extremely broad, so Superhero/action does fit in there.
But yeessss. I love those books so much. *lots of flailing* That ending almost killed me. XD
