@sam-kowal Yeah. That’s a fun way of putting it!
Anyway, other than Brandon Sanderson what do you like to read?

@rochellaine These poems are hilarious. Thanks for starting this! 😀 😀 😀
I screeched at Stan
Like a mother bear
But all he said was “Well There
Please keep your hair
I put that hole in your blanket
Now I go for a chair”
@sam-kowal @dragon-snapper NO ONE HAS MENTIONED how funny “Now I go for a chair” is. That is most definitely the best par…[Read more]

The Gif Hiders
Part Two: The Bird and her Cake
The Kingdom of Pen did grow weirder and weirder for Jenna, but only gradually. After a few days, ever since she had come, she had met some centaurs, a mermaid, another dragon, a tiger, and even a droid. But the weirdness didn’t exactly just rocket into the air until about three weeks after she had f…[Read more]

@sam-kowal Did you mean to tag me but not say anything?

@sam-kowal I just realized I only responded to most of your message, my bad.
I think yes. After I read The Reckoners (and somewhat beforehand) I was constantly making some strange connections with things that wouldn’t have otherwise been connected. Like this one time, my friend asked me if I had ideas for what to do next and I said I was as t…[Read more]

@sam-kowal I’m planning on jumping on the Kapeefer fanfic train, and had some questions about Stan, and didn’t want to make a new thread just to ask. So I was wondering whether or not Stan can fly, aprox. how large he is, and what color he is?

@sam-kowal *cracks knuckles* @daeus I had to tag you too. XD
Challenge accepted. Raspberries. Go.
Frozen Raspberry
Bland,
And the gray of night,
Shivering hands.
No light.
I couldn’t fight,
Tasteless.
I couldn’t write…
Numbness.
Why?
A question…
A question for the sky.
Of this evil infection?
Why the gray,
Does…[Read more]

I’m rereading Resistance by Jaye L. Knight. Anyone else reading at the moment? 🙂 @dekreel @anyone
@sam-kowal @warrenluther04 I agree, Saphira is great. She’s definitely one of my favorites. x)

@sam-kowal Yes, you are definitely not crazy.
Yeah, I was probably thinking about Adolin then, thanks.
In my mind, I’m always using Mistborn words, but if I said them out loud then they would probably be taken as a *hem* bad word (in Mistborn they say ‘Lord Ruler’ though that’s because there’s a guy in charge that calls himself the Lord…[Read more]

@jenwriter17 I’d imagine somewhere in the tween-early teen age, since that’s how old the MCs are, but I don’t know for sure
@sam-kowal @valtmy Thank you both so much! It helps a lot 😀

This actually isn’t all that bad. The writing flows nicely and does fit that of a children’s book. Though I agree with @sam-kowal that there is not enough tension that would keep a reader (especially a child) engaged. The story so far seems to be more of a description of the events that are happening as there is not much conflict or…[Read more]

@skredder, thanks. Singing is fun! F1 is wonderful, I really enjoy listening to low men’s voices. Do you sing? What’s your favorite genre to write in and why?
@sam-kowal I’m so happy you think it sounds epic. I guess we’ll find out whether I have what it takes to write a story on such a topic and have it come out epic. 😉 So, I’m curious, you…[Read more]

@sam-kowal XD Seriously? That’s hilarious. I was wondering what Giarstanornarak. (Gia, Stan, Nor, Nar, so many names!)
Oh, ok. in the past few chapters it’s started making more sense but there are still names I don’t get. Like Dalinar, I thought it was his dad who was having the ‘tantrums’ during High Storms but it’s actually him… R…[Read more]

@dekreel Cute. 😀 And I definitely agree. It is so hard to sleep without a blanket!
@sam-kowal That is HILARIOUS! I love it! 😀 😀 I think my favorite line is “Please keep your hair.” So. Funny.
But you forgot to give Dragon Snapper a topic…

Hi, everyone! I’m not sure how this will work out, but @dekreel ‘s Haiku topic worked awhile back, so I’ll give this a go.
You all remember when there was a Show; don’t tell tag topic? Well, I’m going to make a comic poem tag here. We’ll pick a subject, and tag someone to write a poem on it. As an example of what I mean, KP mag sent out a hil…[Read more]

@sam-kowal Cool! It is awesome, it might outpace Harry Potter as my favorite fantasy series! (wait is “outpace” the right word? *growls at self like Saphira* And it does have an intricate magic system, which makes it believable (as believable as fantasy can get) because of the laws of magic.
