That’s really cool! I was reading about Perpetua quite recently actually, in one of my dad’s college textbooks 😀

@rochellaine Your book sounds SO neat!
Do you think some of the religious leader would’ve shunned her as well since her father returned the money and hung himself?

@rochellaine @seekjustice @notawriter
I am researching various parts of roman life and stuff about Perpetua’s diary, trying to fill in the gaps on my story. Yes, its a his-fic story.
Yeah, an SE his-fic topic would be cool!

@ariel-ashira Are you still working on your Biblical times story too?

@notawriter I want to say my stress levels, 😛 but we’ll go with “I’m working on a short story to submit to an anthology and it’s fun so far!”
@ariel-ashira Oh, what are you working on now? Still his-fic? I’ve been thinking of making an SE thread for historicals, cause I think that would be fun. What do you think?

@notawriter I consider that a very quick reply. 😉 But I’ll be prepared in case there are slower ones.
My current novel is about the fictional daughter of Judas Iscariot. I consider this a very interesting premise to work with because in all the New Testament novels I’ve read the Christians are the nice people and the unbelievers are the a…[Read more]

And to clarify, when I say “I know a lot” I mean that I know a lot for an average run of the mill Australian girl.
And no, I haven’t. I’d never even thought of freezing grapes.
I’ll definitely read it, if you want to post it 😀
@notawriter @ariel-ashira Hello there!

@rochellaine I love frozen grapes!
Can I read your poem??
@notawriter Hi!
I am just researching, and stalking this topic. 😉

@seekjustice I see. 🙂
Have you ever had frozen grapes? We freeze them ourselves, just washing them and putting them in a plastic bag in the freezer. They’re an amazing summer snack. Would you believe it…we’ve actually frozen raisins too. 😛 We used to put frozen raisins in our oatmeal for breakfast. I remember liking it quite a lot, thou…[Read more]

I have a friend who’s mother knows a lot about the culture and has done some travelling, so I hear about it quite a lot.
Our family doesn’t eat frozen fruit, except for putting in smoothies or milkshake sort of things. I think my siblings like eating frozen blueberries a bit.
Actually, I can tell you that I do like canned fruit a…[Read more]

@seekjustice Yes, it’s because of the Middle Eastern background. Wow, that was a quick connection you made!
I like fresh fruit too, and agree that dried fruit is not the best. I like dried apricots and mango a lot. Dried cranberries are probably my favorite, but those have to be sweetened, because they’re extremely sour. 😉  What do you thin…[Read more]

Yes, I think so. It’s a pizza stable here, and I think the cheapest pizza you can buy 😀 Do you not eat ham because of your Middle Eastern background?
Yes, we do 😀 Though at restaurants it usually only comes on expensive burgers.
I have had them before but I don’t like them. I really like fruit, but I’m strictly a fresh fruit…[Read more]

@seekjustice I think ham and pineapple pizza is the original “Hawaiian pizza” which was invented in Canada. Hawaiians say it’s not Hawaiian pizza. 😉 But I believe yes, it is fairly common in America. I’ve personally never had it, because we don’t eat ham.
Um…do you have pineapple on burgers? I’ve had pineapple with a lot of meats befo…[Read more]

I guess so? But you’d probably have to go to a health food store, or there might be some in the health food section of the supermarket, I don’t know.
Do you have ham and pineapple pizza? Maybe that’s just an Australian thing.
What about pineapple? Do you have that on burgers? Haha, my dad likes talking about once when he was r…[Read more]

@seekjustice 😛
Do you have Traditional Medicinals tea in Australia?
I have a huge sweet tooth, so I use honey. 😉 Hibiscus tea doesn’t need much honey because it’s sweet already, and I could drink it without, but like I mentioned, I have a sweet tooth. 😛 The honey is mostly for when I have a sore throat, though.
Ha. I’m one of the only on…[Read more]

😀 I actually say goodness gracious a lot, but I only ever say it the other way around if I’m trying to make people laugh 😛
I don’t think I’ve ever heard of it. Herbal teas have never been very popular here and its only in more recent years that we’ve been able to buy a variety in mainstream stores. I tend to drink chamomile, or…[Read more]

@seekjustice Haha, your “catchphrase” reminds me that I just read a book where a character said “wowly-wow” and a male one at that so I feel quite justified in allowing Derek to say it in my western. 😛
Procrastinating is one of the most fun things to do, isn’t it?
Hm, you’re right, I don’t think we have. 😀 I mostly drink tea when I’m sick, a…[Read more]

(Gracious goodness, I just tagged myself :P)
I’m procrsastinating on writing a character personality sheet thing. And drinking green tea. Do you like green tea? Or any kind of tea? I think this is a topic we haven’t broached yet.
