@hannah-c My cat has this strange and frighteningly accurate radar for when I’m writing death scenes.

Thank you. We probably would have attempted it if you hadn’t said that, because the movie was really great, but I forgot about how awkward reading aloud can be. 🙂

@emma-flournoy The age range is 14-18. Do you think that’s too young?

@daeus I would go for the audio book if it was well dramatized. My eyes tire quickly, and it’s rare to find a book I really like on audio. I also have a friend who likes audio books because she has a long drive to work every day, and I’m sure she’s not the only person like that.

@emma-flournoy Do you think it would be a good family read? Mommy’s trying to find a good classic for us to read together.

I like the bit about the sulky door. I think there is great potential for that. A door with an attitude? Maybe it’s stubborn and decides not to open sometimes? Maybe (if you’re going with other worlds) when they’re trying to get into one world, it will randomly dump them in another, just to be annoying?
Just a thought.

@i-j-anderson I know! Sahara! Dirk says it to the warlord’s patrol who is trying to board his boat. That’s such a cool movie; if only Eva (is that her name?) had kept more clothes on….
Hehehe, that means I get to quote one. Let’s see…

@leumeister LGBT stands for gay, lesbian, bisexual, etc. *shudders* Do they not use that term in Australia?

@anne-of-lothlorien So she got it published? Yay!!! 🙂 I liked it too. I forgot it was based on her grandparents, though. That’s neat.

@perfectfifths Oh, I’m glad you liked it! 🙂 Thank you for the recommendation! My brothers are into making stop motion right now, so they would probably enjoy those (as will I 🙂 ). I didn’t know there were any other Christian Lego movies out there.

@leumeister Ah, well, I suppose I shall survive..;)
I don’t know if Chima is still going…I kind of lost interest in Lego when they brought that degradation to the market…

@anne-of-lothlorien Oh boy, you just started one of my favorite subjects! I personally liked VotDT, even though it could be pretty lame in parts (aforesaid green mist). Eustace was amazing and Reepicheap was perfect. The one thing that annoyed me a little was the diversion from Edmund’s character. He was awful in The Lion the Witch and the…[Read more]
