@valtmy Hello.
@rochellaine It’s going pretty good. Doing what @jenwriter17 tagged me on.

Haha what song is that?
I don’t think I have songs for specific characters. But I have a whole musical’s worth of songs which inspired the “theatre” aspect of my WIP, a song for the “main couple” and another listing of soundtracks for the general mood and feel of the story.

Hey.
Well, to be honest, it’s been really tough. Things have been busy at work, which doesn’t leave a lot of time for writing my WIP. I’m having trouble getting into the writing mood so I’m listening to the soundtracks that inspired my WIP in the first place to try to reignite my love for my WIP.

@rochellaine 🙂
How’s Daughter of Judas coming?
I’m going to have to leave now, but I might be on later tonight. Bye!

@rochellaine Well, I’m kinda totally starting over. There’s only a few parts of the plot that I’m keeping from the already written part. (I hope that’s legal for nano, if not….well I’ll have to rethink some plans.)
Of course I’ll let you read it. 😉 Once I write it, I want to ask for beta readers via my blog, kinda like how Seekjustice did.

@rochellaine Oh sorry; I’m rewriting the dystopian that I wrote. I added a couple more characters and changed quite a few things with the plot and setting.

@rochellaine Hi, how are you? 🙂 It’s my dystopian WIP. I want to write it for NaNoWriMo, if my schedule allows me to dedicate that much time to writing.

@seekjustice @rochellaine @alia @ariel-ashira @catwing @valtmy @kaya-young @dragon-snapper @dekreel
Anyone on? I’m writing blog posts and outlining my WIP.

@rochellaine Are you still around? I’ll be here for a bit.

@rochellaine I was just thinking about that. 🙂 I was going to, but decided against it. I’ve been Jenwriter17 the whole time on KP and SE, and I didn’t want to risk people continuing to use my ’17’ name instead of ’18’, cuz then I’d probably miss most of the times they were tagging me.
Well, I have to leave now. I might be on again tomorrow…[Read more]

@rochellaine huh, that is odd that the ceremony is so far from when you finish. I bet it’ll be hard to wait that long.
Close…I’ll be eighteen next week. 🙂 I graduate from high school in 2019.

@rochellaine *sighs* sometimes it’s just so easy to get distracted away from writing. 😉
Cool! I always thought that someone in your field would be full of good book research info. 🙂 What year would you graduate (if you don’t mind me asking)?

@rochellaine pretty good; and you? I am furiously trying to get a blog post together in time for Saturday because I had no time to do it earlier this week…..and may or may not be getting distracted by Pinterest and researching. 😛 How about you? how’s law school? (it was law school right?)

SeekJustice replied to the topic Writers' Corner #20 in the forum General Writing Discussions 7 years, 7 months ago
Oh and yep. There’s a lot of outlining methods. I use my own method which seems to work for me and is fairly simple.

Strange and confused can be fun, definitely, but I prefer more realistic scenarios.
I don’t think I’ve ever written anything purely comedic, but I don’t mind watching or reading something purely for fun every now and then. The thing is, my life and family is fairly comedic so I prefer to look for more serious things in fiction 😛
