@seekjustice What do you think of the pre-WWI Gibson Girl fashions? Ah, the Olympics are very interesting. And they were very different from what they are now!!
@valtmy There aren’t many monarchs that interest me greatly for some reason. I’m very fond of Lady Jane Grey and her cousin Edward, but other than that I usually prefer the people wh…[Read more]

@valtmy I meant what is considered the modern period of history, from about the 1600s to the present. I don’t like ancient history much, and don’t know much about the middle ages so I was wondering what was your favorite period out of the section of history I study the most.
My favorite period is from about 1912-1970. 😀 But I have a few o…[Read more]

@seekjustice Standards for modesty depended a lot on the time of day and the place or event. Ball gowns have always been less modest than everyday clothing. So has swimwear. Women didn’t swim with men during that period, but if you go forward fifty years to the 1890s-1900s, which I know more about, you see that walking dresses covered up to th…[Read more]

@seekjustice Oh, do you like ballet? I wouldn’t have thought so.
The Victorian era had very interesting standards of modesty. 😉 Showing your ankle was considered obscene and scandalous, and yet showing shoulders and even a bit of cleavage was common during certain events. I don’t think it would be appropriate for going out in the daytime, bu…[Read more]

@seekjustice Well, I am watching a bit of Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake on YouTube. I found a version where they don’t die in the end, but kill the villain instead. 😀 I think I probably needed that after being reminded of Zac tonight. 😉
Hm, I don’t like Victorian fashion much, but go ahead, shoot, and I’ll see if I can help.

@seekjustice Aw. 🙂 Well, I’m here now. 😀 What are we going to talk about tonight?

@alia I would picture it sort of like the sod shanties or dugouts from Little House on the Prairie. Those are like cottages, but they are a bit disguised.

@alia Yes, like the Bible says, evil is thought good, and good is thought evil. 🙁 It’s quite possible for guys to be “cool” without being bad, but a lot of people don’t realize that. 😛
@seekjustice Quillon is really sweet. Forgive me, but even with his strength in protecting Sapphire I think he’s not quite as strong as Justice or Zac (…[Read more]

@ariel-ashira Yes, I think the term can be used as a sort of endearment, but I don’t think I was too harsh in my assessment. SeekJustice rather was. 😛 Since “bad” has been getting worse in modern society, what’s considered just a normal, cute and rule-bending guy, by non-Christians I would consider to be a pretty awful person, probably. And…a random announcement because I just want people who go through and read all these posts to know…
I don’t like Zac because of his “bad boy” character traits. I despised him when I started to read the book, and thought he was an annoying and horrible person. I like him because he got better and changed, and at the end of the book is no l…[Read more]

@seekjustice Okay, I wonder if it’s an American thing? Usually when I hear the term “bad boy” it’s used to define the rule-bender who doesn’t believe in much but is very charismatic and the girls fall for him quick as a wink. I could be wrong about this, let’s ask @jenwriter17 😛
The other guys…oh, don’t even mention Dorian Gray. He’s too ba…[Read more]

@seekjustice What? Zac isn’t the “bad boy” type? He’s got iffy morals, gets drunk all the time, is crazily flirtatious with a girl he doesn’t even know, and hates his cousin because his cousin is “good”…and he’s not a bad boy? I’m curious to know what your definition of a bad boy is, in that case. 😮 😛 I mean, yeah, he’s not in a gang and…[Read more]

@seekjustice I pictured him darker and with shorter hair. Zac doesn’t seem a long, smooth hair guy to me, but a guy who would have short, slightly combed and slightly awry hair. Maybe a younger version of Robbie Amell?

Also, I guess maybe the pictures you picked would be a little how I’d picture him when he first appears, all annoying and a…[Read more]

@seekjustice Oh my goodness. OH my GOODNESS!!! *sobs* oh, wow.
I nearly cried, seriously, but couldn’t because I was also smiling. 😉 I love all the quotes. Zac looks a little different than I pictured him, but I can live with that. 😛
Oh, wow. *sniffs*

@seekjustice Oh the torture! 😛 We had guests in the house this morning when you posted at 8:00 and I couldn’t respond to ask you what you were talking about. When they left, a little before noon, I knew you would be asleep, so I was going to wait until about 4:00 (my time) which is when you usually seem to wake up, but then this evening I r…[Read more]

@catwing Okay, I’m going to say goodnight now. Your story looks great! Like I said, I loved the realistic sound of it, because that made it feel close to me and like I could understand and feel what was going on with Alex. Good job.
And goodnight. 🙂

@valtmy Well, I have finals in about three weeks, so I’m going to do some intense studying preparing for that. I’ll try to be on here once in a while but I’m not sure.
I started reading your chapters but haven’t had a chance to finish them or comment yet. I guess you’ll see when I do, anyway. 🙂 I am liking it so far.
