Hey fellow ENFJ! 😉 I am an ENFJ as well, Dragon Snapper, or D.G., if you want, for short. Although people have called me Snapper before. 🙂
So, henchman, what’s your favorite food? (Don’t worry, you’ll graduate soon enough.)
Welcome to KP; I look forward to seeing you around!

@sam-kowal YOU HAVE A DRAGON! AND YOU LOVE BRANDON SANDERSON! I love dragons. And Brandon Sanderson. Have you read his Reckoner’s series? That’s my favorite of the ones I have read of his.

My point is based on a principle I’m going to call Daeus’ principle just to stroke my vanity. This principle states that if you know at a certain point in your story you can get a reaction out of your reader, do not have any of your characters react at that point or the reader will not react. For instance, if you think you can get your rea…

So, I have decided, that for the sake of appealing to my audience, my current WIP should have romance. Also, because I would ship my couple anyways. Does anyone have any tips for writing romance? I’ve never had so much as a crush on anybody before, but I have read lots of romance books. Let me know if you want more details about my story.

Oh, and good choice with TSFH! Yeah, there name is awful, but the music is great. So I call them TSFH. Have you heard any Audiomachine songs?

Meh, forget that.
What’s your least favorite book? I personally can’t stand the Incredible Journey. Or, what was that other book? Ah, the Glass Sentence. I also…[Read more]

@silverclaw-bonnetfolly Thanks for your input! I think it sorta does have to do with the government, but I’m not sure how yet.
@shannon (You’re back!) Well, it’s a pretty big ghost town, but that’s definitely what it is…minus the tumbleweeds and self-playing pianos. And yes, I’m going to make the soil useless too. *nods* I think…

@princessfoo Yes! Go Star Trek! 😛 so, my first idea was actually a nuclear wasteland, then I realized that because my characters have to go through the city, it wouldn’t make sense. They’d melt. :O The Genre is sci-fi, set in the future of earth, 22nd century.
@emily Actually, the giant sinkhole is really helpful. I’m going to use that somewhere. 😀

Maybe one of them is a history buff, and wants to be there when the prophecy unfolds? Or maybe one of them hears a snippet of the prophecy and thinks, “That sounds like my sibling/cousin/best friend/me.”
Am I any closer to what you need?

@dragon-snapper A plague maybe? Or, (because your profile picture reminds me of star-trek) chemical or nuclear residue? Or even just rumors of nuclear residue. Or maybe the city was built over some natural gas chamber that opened and drove people away. Or maybe during the war, an army came and killed everyone who hadn’t left yet, and then no one…[Read more]
