@daughteroftheking I may give your fairy character a go, if you’re still interested! @dragon-snapper ‘s drawing has inspired me (wonderful job, btw! You’re great at shading!)
N.C., also I love your Calvin and Hobbes profile pic! my dad is a huge fan of the comics
I’m also willing to draw other characters as well, but be forewarned, all your…[Read more]

@filewriterbase13x I don’t really have a major work in progress at the moment, I’m currently trying to find some sort of idea, any sort of idea. I’m working on a short story as a gift for my dad. To fill time in between “brilliant” (hahaha) novel ideas, I sometimes dabble in fan-fiction and short stories, which I have found to be excellent ways…[Read more]

Welcome, @filewriterbase13x ! Gosh, you sound a lot like me when I was your age! I still love painting and reading and writing and all that stuff, but I’m a bad fan and haven’t listened to Adventures in Odyssey in years.
Your book sounds awesome! I also love writing sci-fi and fantasy.
also since you love chocolate, definitely try the…[Read more]

@catwing Lol, you never know. 😀
@dekreel! NO! He’s my brother! XD
I remember him mentioning he talked to Catwing a lot and had a lot in common (or something like that). Anyway, he doesn’t know what he could have said to make you think he was her brother. XD But he’s not, he’s my brother. Hope that’s cleared up any confusion. 😉

@rochellaine Yes!
Burst out laughing in a series meeting.
@skredder Me too. 😀
Probably run around in the rain.
@jenwriter17 Ten duck-sized horses. 😛
Would you character rather plan their country’s 500th anniversary, arrange their wedding, or murder their wife and frame Guilder for it?

@dekreel Link would take the train.
Would your character rather… *sits for a long time trying to think of something* Would your character rather call the brute squad, be on the brute squad, or be the brute squad? Points for getting the reference.

@dekreel. Yep. And yes, so like the cello and viola is tuned to C, G, D and A, and they’re still tuned to perfect fifths.

Louise Fowler replied to the topic The Writerly Adventures of Jenna Trapperton in the forum General Writing Discussions 6 years, 9 months ago
@dekreel It refers to when notes are five tones apart, or 8 semitones (but if you’re not musical, that’ll probably just confuse you). The violin is tuned to perfect fifths (G, D, A, E from lowest to highest), So if you count five notes starting from G to D on a piano, it’s an interval of five notes. There’s a reason they’re specifically called…[Read more]

You know you’re a writer when you’re watching a murder mystery with your family and you say something like, “Wouldn’t it be interesting if they switched places because no one would know the difference…” unwittingly revealing the key to the entire mystery before the murder even takes place. :/

@jenwriter17 I agree that there definitely should be some sort of international Kingdom Pen day. I don’t know how exactly one would go about celebrating it but holidays are great.

Okay so I have returned after a very long hiatus, and first off, the new website design looks great!
Second; what does it mean by “rank?” My rank is “Wise Jester”, I’m not sure what that means, how on earth I obtained it, and whether or not I should be offended…-
Welcome back, @julia-r!! 😀
Your rank shows how many posts you’ve made on the forum. The more posts you make, the higher your rank. Here a list:
Bumbling Henchman: 0-20 posts (I think)
Charismatic Rebel: 20-50 posts

Loyal Sidekick: 100-300 posts

Eccentric Mentor: 1000-2000

Aaah! I see now! I was starting to assume it had something to do with posts made as I moved about the website a little more, but I wasn’t sure. Those are such fun labels 😀 Thanks, @dekreel !
