Awesome, @arella-noreen ! 😀
I’m going to write a few minutes more since I’m coming along well with my poem editing. I came up with some changes I like and a few suggestions to consider, so I’m happy! 🙂
Thanks for writing with me! 🙂

Hey @arella-noreen . I just saw your message. I’ve been writing, but I’m going to take a ten-minute break now. I’ll probably write for 15 minutes more when I return if you want to join me. 🙂

That is very helpful, @aratrea , thanks!
I’ve been mulling it over some, and then working on other projects, and then mulling it over some more. The hard part for me is choosing the main theme because there are several ways I could lean with my story. I’m getting close, though. 🙂 Trying to identify what all of the different themes are for my…[Read more]

Thanks, @graciegirl ! 🙂 I’ve been thinking about working on a theme for my next draft. I wrote this story pantser style, so I didn’t really think about a theme when I wrote it. It was fun. 🙂

Thanks, @daeus . I was thinking that I could leave the structure the way it was if I just developed the story and characters a bit more, so it was nice to find that someone else thought it would work. 🙂
I’m not sure which route I will take. I like how focusing more on one character (either the princess or the peddler) would allow me to…[Read more]

Thanks, @jane-maree . That was nice of you to do that. 🙂 I’ll be sure to give it a look when I prepare to write the next draft.

I know, @northerner , I did break fairy tale protocol. (When I did, it felt like I was banging my head against a brick wall.) There was a lot of age difference, though. Sorry. 😉
Thanks for your opinion, I agree with you. I think her experiences should make her want to do something to help other princesses who may suffer from similar…[Read more]

Those are some good ideas, @kate-flournoy . I was thinking that I needed to either make the story more about the princess, or the peddler, and I started to go with the princess, which is why I cut out some at the end that talked about his life after the whole affair. However, what you wrote made me think about it some more, and I think the…[Read more]

Hey @daeus ,
It was a short story that disappeared when I tried to edit it … technical diffulties! *sigh* I’m trying to put it up again, but it doesn’t want to go up because it says it already exists …

Hey guys,
I’ve been working on this short story I wrote a while back, and I thought it might be a good idea before I get started on the next draft to ask for your opinions and see if any of you have ideas for improving it. (I’d really appreciate them!) 🙂
I wrote draft 1 1/2 recently and looking over it afterward, it occurred to me that it’s…[Read more]
