@aislinn-mollisong I’m not big on joining forums (Kingdom Pen being the exception that prove the rule 😉 ) But my game name is Kayma Brass-Scope (or something like that).

@aislinn-mollisong Yes! 😀 My brother and I have played it up to where you have to start to pay, but we haven’t gotten around to purchasing the rest yet. 🙂
@princessfoo I can relate to that one so much! 😀

Hey, thanks! 😀 Oh, I see. I think I knew that, but I forgot. 😛
Oh, okay. Preference. Makes sense
I don’t think his age is unknown, per se, but that’s the age range that I picture him in, and since the series is set in 2017, his birthday would have to be set between 1999 and 2002, if he’s going to be those ages…[Read more]

@bethanysinkyroses , I’m in the Y.W.W. program too! 🙂 Brett and Jaquelle are very helpful. They’re good mentors, but I’m kinda looking for another mentor too, ideally, someone who could give me more one on one attention and maybe even meet with in person. I’d like to learn from someone with more experience than me, especially when it comes to…[Read more]

Do any of you have writing mentors? If so, how did you meet them?

Hey @anna-brie. I’m sorry I never replied to your post. I haven’t been on here much lately, and I must have somehow missed what you wrote …a year ago. Sorry.
Better late than never, I guess. :/
I think both ideas sound interesting, but especially the second. It sounds like what could be a good story. 🙂
I especially like the “friends start…[Read more]

Hmm… I actually might be interested in trying this out. After researching the Big/Modern Four thing, it actually sounds quite interesting. However, if I do post the character, I would like (if it’s okay with you) to keep the character for later if I ever want to use him/her. OR I could do an authorized crossover. I’ve got a post-modern story…[Read more]

Hmmm…
Synonyms for master in this case could be: Mentor, advisor, guide, counsel, teacher, trainer, sage, tutor, guru, chief, elder. Maybe, if there is a lot of formality, you could come up with some other title, like calling the master’s “Father” since they’re teaching them the skills, or whatever.
Synonyms for apprentice (if you’re also…[Read more]

@aratrea What about The Screwtape Letters? I haven’t actually read the book yet, but my family listened to an audio drama of it, and we really enjoyed it. It focuses on Screwtape trying to train his nephew Wormwood to be a tempter, and encouraging him to try and make his “patient” sin. But Wormwood keeps failing, no matter what advice he takes…[Read more]

@catwing Oh, very nice. 😀 I enjoy learning about the ways cats communicate, and I try to communicate to them in the same ways. One of our cats, Minnie, often does a little nod of her head when she see me, to acknowledge me, so I do that back, and I blink slowly at them, which is a sign of trust or affection.

@catwing It’s like they can’t understand body language so had to invent a verbal language to make up for their unablity to observe.
Did you know that cats pretty much only ever meow to humans? In the wild, they only meow as kittens as means of calling to Mamma, but when they reach adulthood, they hardly ever meow. But it seems they’ve found meo…[Read more]

@aratrea Thanks, I will let him know.
I can’t even remember what I said, except something about keeping that in mind (about the backsliding) and not being quite sure what specific event causes Amrei to trust Nylian. I think I said there might not be on specific event, but the fact that they have to trust each other out of necessity to complete…[Read more]

@aratrea This isn’t related to these videos, but I wasn’t sure where to ask… My brother (Leumeister) hasn’t yet accessed Theme Mastery. We both got the premium deal, with the extra $80 per person. Is he able to sign in using his Kingdom Pen account to access the course, or does he need to use mine? And what about for the forums for discussion…[Read more]
