    @dekreel

    Thx.

The backstory behind it is pretty crazy.

  • Just curious, since a good number of KPers did CWW (Crazy Writing Week).

For those who don’t know, Crazy Editing Week is hosted by The Young Writer, and it starts May 12th. I’ll give everyone the link: https://theyoungwriter.com/crazy-editing-week/

I haven’t done this one before, I’ve done CWW once, and CWW was awesome, so I expect this one to…[Read more]

Also I just had an idea. What if, as Chase got closer to certain people, he started associating them in his mind with different animals depending on their personality? Could be a way he gets more comfortable around some people. Just an idea though. You can use if you want or not.

That is an awesome idea! And it sounds just like something…[Read more]

Funny, isn’t it, how when humans find something beautiful, their eyes quickly find the single blemish. Instead of enjoying the beauty, they focus on that one blemish, and suddenly that thing is no longer so beautiful anymore to them.

Is it right to look only at the blemish? No, I don’t think so. Is it right to look only at the beauty? No, I…[Read more]

Sorry that I haven’t been active. I wasn’t sure what to rp, and there was alot of life stuff I was working with.

    Chase

Chase shook his head. “Wha-what t-teach-er g-gives t-tree l-less-ons?” Besides, if you want to climb trees, you can talk to squirrels about it. They can tell you all kind of things about the different kind of trees…[Read more]

    Thanks

    Chase

Chase didn’t know what to think of the chaotic sight, so he stared with blank, black eyes, face half cast in shadow by his hoodie. “Why T-teach-er in t-tree?” A single flicker of purple came to Chase’s eyes, then died again.

  • @loopylin

    Yeah, sorry.

    Um, Chase would prefer puppy.

I’ll write a quick rp for him to get things moving along

He wasn’t as fearsome as she had pictured after the fight the previous night. Instead he seemed kind and gentle, more so than most other people she had met.

It’s funny to think of Chase as fearsome, he’s just so…not u…[Read more]

Nar: “Of course. You can never spend any amount of time in my profession without finding someone you couldn’t help.”

  • Wordy writing styles.

As Andrew can testify, more than once I have criticized books for wordy writing styles.

I’m not saying writers should state things as brief as possible, but writers shouldn’t take a paragraph and fill it with needless words. It bogs down the reader. There’s a balance between adding needless words and being too brief.

I think I did this with Silvanis…But I did punch him last night for no good reason so he might be pretty hostile so I’ll do…Nar I guess just cuz I was looking at an old drawing of her today

    1. What is your full name?

“Narray Mae Nayhelm, but everyone usually calls me simply Nar.”

    2. What is the most important thing the average person should…

@elishavet-pidyon You’ve published some of your animal fantasy books, correct? I’m not very big into animal fantasy, but i have a friend who is. Her birthday is coming up, and I was wondering where I could purchase one or two of your books for her.

    • Oh, sorry for the late response!
I haven’t published yet. I’m touched that you’d want to get them though. 🙂 When is her birthday? I could send/share printable short stories. (In fact, quite a few KeePers could do a compilation)
If you want to get her some great animal fantasy books though, I would 100% recommend The Mistantle Chronicles by…[Read more]

    • Also! Kylie Beevers ( @livingwoodchronicles ) is a KeePer that’s published. She has a fun series about a kingdom of foxes. The first book is Rise of the Living Wood. I think the second one is coming out soon. It’s sold on Amazon, and maybe in some book stores? I liked it. 🙂

Aww Chase, you’re the best disney princess ever.

I have that meme you made a while back saved on the family computer.

    Chase

    Blue sprang into Chase’s eyes. “F-fawns fr-friends. I-I puh-tect lit-tle o-ones.”

  • My first written stories were about the tales I used to tell my little brother about a land called Nutmag (not Nutmeg, NutMAG huge difference, I know). It had talking animals and no humans. I even had a theme song for it that I’d sing before telling Ezra a story. I wrote at least three short stories only about two to three pages long. I still have…[Read more]

Chase looked at the floor, his eyes black. “Th-that’s sad. S-shall I in-intro-duce him s-sometime? A-all p-people should know f-fawns.” chase made a motion with his hand, as if petting some invisible animal.

  • @koshka

Okay, so my brain has been reading things with interesting twists to words. I literally just read that as “We’ve reached 500 papayas, guys.”

I almost choked on my yogurt XD

Chase was confused. Did she not know if this person was a friend or not? “D-does he l-like f-faw, fawwwns?” It was random, and not the best type of q…[Read more]
