Just got done reading Donovan’s Daughter by Lori Wick. I’m not as awesome as everyone else and I read inspirational stuff instead of adventure. (Except I really like Th Scarlet Pimpernel by Baroness whatever her name was XD)

They did send criminals to New Zealand. I had to make sure of that one. And I now have a pretty good source of information to draw from.

Anyone who had done the smallest bit of crimes could be sent there. Mothers with small children or babies, a child who stole food, etc. So there are more than just that baby as well.

Well I was doing each letter. That could be a voice thing for your MC. How she pronounces it. Maybe it could be a contrast to the way another character says it. As in, maybe she says NAHF-sigh but another character says each letter. Just a thought. I’m not sure if it matches with your story or not.
