@joy-caroline That’s awesome that you’re following God’s guidance! Yes, He always knows best and His timing is perfect! 😀 Personally, I think the combining is a great idea. 🙂
I wish you all the best on your story! It really sounds like God has given you that story for a reason, so I know it’s going to be amazing. <3

@gracie-j I’m so sorry I completely forgot about a post for you! Sadly, between KP articles, work and my studying, I barely have time for my own blog and I’m going to have to back out, if that’s ok. I’d definitely still be up to doing a post swap with you sometime though. Once again, I’m so sorry! I have this awful habit of taking on way too much…[Read more]

@nova21 Ooh the fitness cube is a really good idea!
Here’s what I usually do (tho it changes sometimes):
I gather a full water bottle and any books or papers I need for my WIP. I use a pomodoro app on my phone for my timer (working 25 mins; break for 5 mins). And of course, I have music. I usually put on whatever music I feel like I need (i.e.…[Read more]

Jenna Terese replied to the topic Uhhhh… Problem? in the forum General Writing Discussions 3 years, 8 months ago
Ooh, that can be tough…
What I usually do when I have something I have to work on and another thing that’s grabbing my attention, is that I give that new idea my attention my daydreaming about it. It might sound kinda weird, but yeah I just allow myself to think about it, maybe brainstorm a little, and let it marinate in my mind…[Read more]

Jenna Terese replied to the topic Cast of Characters in the forum General Writing Discussions 3 years, 9 months ago
Personally, when I see a cast of characters page it worries me that the cast is so large that the reader needs help to keep them all straight (when there are so many characters, I have a hard time connecting to the story sometimes). But I dunno, that’s just me…

Cool website! 😀 I definitely think it’s a good idea to have a website, but a email list/newsletter is also SUPER important for updates and things (more so than a blog, in my opinion). I use Mailchimp to manage my email lists and newsletters, which has worked out well for my author business so far. 🙂

I love this topic already! @devestate-lasting @abigail-m yours sound amazing! I love the line “She couldn’t remember the last time she saw daylight” because its so eerie and confusing and immediately makes me think “What the heck?” but also makes me think of the arctic/antarctic (which I think is what you’re going for) so it grounds…[Read more]

Yep, that’s a completely believable scenario. I once went abseiling (like rock climbing but opposite) and I actually did fall off the cliff. Thankfully though, harnesses exist so no harm was done and I just had to climb back up again, but if I’d been in the position where I didn’t have a harness for whatever reason, I would have been…[Read more]
