@perfectfifths ooh cool! 😀 Home school is the best, definitely. Those people out there who think we’re weird…well, they’re right. XD We are weird. But we’re a cool sort of weird, and I love it. 😛
@clairec howdy!! *waves* Ho humm. Should I forgive you? *thinks hard* *takes a council for twelve days* Yep okay. You’re forgiven. 😛

@jane-maree, Hello!
To start with, I apologize that I have stalked your and @perfectfifths conversation. *hee hee!* Will you forgive me? 😉
I’m also an Aussie! 🙂 And homeschooled…
Looking forward to seeing you around! -

@PerfectFifths that absolutely fine 😉 it’s not a major part of her character. And I do love your drawing

@PerfectFifths I love it! Her smile especially and the braids! And Azia in the back as a shadow almost is really great. My version of her hair is everywhere, though I think this is really awesome to see your perspective, thanks!
@spradlin no problemo! Ha, well, I’ve never actually made prints of anything before but if you want the originals, I’ve…[Read more]

@perfectfifths Alright, I got your story done. You can send me the Bunyan one if you’re ready.

@perfectfifths Yes, I figured. But hey, everything about art doesn’t have to be realistic. Not that I’m saying it’s bad to learn to draw more realistically but don’t give up your ‘little people’ completely. They are adorable. 😀 And I love the wolf too! So does Tor; he loves his wolf.

@perfectfifths *squeals* That is adorable! I’m not sure how old he is supposed to be… it reminds me of him as a lad, playing at wolf-riders and hoping to join one day. *grin* It’s so cute!

@perfectfifths Uh, I probably could… I’ll finish the first one for now and then if I’ll let you know after that.

@PerfectFifths Aw, that’s too bad.
🙂@Daeus I know, and I thought of saying so in my first post but when I wrote it out—‘are any of you people besides Daeus going to…’—, it almost sounded rude, so I decided I’d just wait for you to reply and then I could tell you I knew. And that’s the plain truth of it. Yep, way too unnecessarily…[Read more]

@princessfoo Hiya! Welcome to the bestistest place on the internets!
Hmmm. Well, I’ve co-written some, though I haven’t done it in a bit. First thing I would ask is if your characters are going to cross paths at some point. I suggest discussing where each of you are going with your own plots, if you haven’t already. That way you can understand…[Read more] -

@perfectfifths Oh, my goodness!! I was so focused on finding the right URL thingy I forgot to put it in the img box!!!! XD Zikers! I can’t believe I did that. *grins sheepishly* I’ll be right back…

@i-j-anderson @perfectfifths @Kate flournoy Thanks, guys!
I’ll try and figure out how to do it without showing a link…Or wait, does it just show me the link and you guys see the pic? Ah, I dunno. XD Somehow you guys are looking at it, and that’s all that matters. 😀 -
Joy Mastron replied to the topic Character Art Exchange in the forum Art 9 years, 1 month ago
@kate-flournoy again. I’m very flattered 🙂 I’m glad you appreciate it, I just had the idea, and it looks as if I’ve found a niche! And never, I mean NEVER, be ashamed or embarrassed of your art. Even if you think it looks bad, it’s still a step stool to get better. And your Cress is simply gorgeous! I love her tattoos.

@PerfectFifths ummm… *laughs* Probably the only tip I could give you is pay attention to shadows and textures. Also realize that the human form and face is made up of many different shapes (not all faces are merely oval, nor all arms merely straight) and to learn to see those shapes and the way they combine to make the overall shapes of…[Read more]

Two more characters. 😀
Seamus: A twelve-year-old lad, full of life and mischief who has a way of making everyone fall in love with him. He has red hair that falls about his face. It’s not curled, but it’s not straight either… slightly wavy, I guess. He has a few freckles on his cheeks and nose and sparkling blue eyes. He’s normally grinning at…[Read more]

@PerfectFifths this is what I have of Trajan. I feel like such a knucklehead because I drew him a holster and forgot the sword, for Pete’s sake.

I don’t know which one I’m going to do next. Who knows. 😛

‘Nother character…
Erika Paige, female, nineteen. Tall, a little bony, dark-ish skin and a light dusting of freckles, with grey-green eyes and a veritable mop of brilliant red hair. She’s a mechanic… her story is steampunk, so she makes steam-powered robots and drones and such… and she also dresses like a Victorian era lady, mostly in dark…[Read more]
