Honestly, the reason I want people to connect with my characters is because I want my series to be about Overcoming, at its very core. Being More Then Conquerors, through Christ.

No matter the trauma or struggle, at its core I want this series to be about overcoming, whatever it may be.

Oh speedball is great! My local art supplies store sells their nibs by the single, it’s super convenient but I haven’t tried any of them yet.

We got a speedball (nice but still cheap) sketching set with three mapping pens, two drawing, and a standardish one, then a set with some oblique nibs. We’re using Dr. Ph. Martin’s black star ink. I’d like to get a nicer set with a wooden holder but this works for now.

Oh that’s great! I have a tachikawa starter set (one G nib (my fav so far) one mapping quill… ect. 5 in total) and it has a mini size tachikawa ink jet black ink, and a holder. The holder holds both small and large nibs. It also has these teeny tiny sheets of paper 😭 with non-photo blue…[Read more]
