Great! I wrote 900 words and remembered a few plot details I had forgotten. I love when that happens so that I don’t have to keep making things up when the details are forgotten. Nice work! Thanks for letting me write with you! I think this was our first time to do so! It’s so motivating to have someone to work with!

@overcomer how’d your planning go? I got quite a bit laid out and a little bit written.

@overcomer oh, to write a novel in one season! Unfortunately, I don’t think that’s possible for me. 😛 But we’ll see— if I can get the editing of my WIP finished before summer (chancy at best) I could be starting a novella… so we’ll see. 🙂

@overcomer Does writing a novella count? I hope to start a new one in a few weeks. A club could be fun. 😉

I guess a lot of people have been busy lately -including me. Wow, so many good points have been made here. I like them all. I agree with @overcomer… I like the telling in the book. It really works for this story, and it makes for a relaxing, thought-provoking read. I also like how simple (and bold, as you said @Daeus) the characters are.

@dbhgpdreigns Exactly. I was thinking it sounded like the Hitler Youth, too, but pretty much every totalitarian society begins by brainwashing the kids.
