@daeus Yeah, I knew what you meant. It’s still impressive. 🙂 So long as you remember what you sang, it’d just be a matter of transferring it to actual, physical music, wouldn’t it? I really should sit down and try to compose a tune again, but it’s hard! 😀

Oh, and by composing by ear I meant composing by voice and then writing it down as opposed to writing it down as you make it up in your head.

@perfectfifths I hope it didn’t sound like I can write down music on the spot. That would be impressive. I just mean I create a song by singing it at any time impromptu and I really don’t know how I do that.

@daeus Yeah, I think music is composed by ear, seeing as you can’t copy what some else has written (‘cuz it’s not written yet 😉 ) I’m pretty good at figuring out songs by ear, just not writing my own. @Daeus yup. 😀 Lights on the tree. Not our house because it would be an absolute pain (it’s log and really, really square and tall) but on our tree and our loft railing.

@Daeus ah, I see. We don’t celebrate it like a lot of people celebrate it— gifts were too easy to become distracted by, so we just have a tree and food. Lots of food. 😛 And read the Christmas story of course.

As far as I know at this point. Christmas is coming up and things can be a little crazy, so I’m not a hundred percent on that, but as far as I know at this point. If I don’t tag you… you’ll know. 😛

@emma-l That’s so exciting! For a career, I’m not sure whether I’m going to have a musical career or writing, because both are my two biggest passions. I’ve wanted to be a writer since I was about 10 (I’ve been making up stories pretty much all my life, getting my mum to write them down before I could) but that was before the violin 😉
