Ahem…anyway. You can ignore that. 😛
SFR-P2 Eureka!!! Wow! I never thought of genres that way. They are changing quite often, especially in popularity. New ones are popping up often. As of now, the most popular one seems to be dystopian. You could say that…[Read more] -

@perfectfifths Well, I’m not crazy about birds, but I do go birdwatching from time to time. My favorite birds that I’ve seen so far are the Scarlet Tanager, Indigo Bunting and the Bald Eagle. Then I also love the Carolina Wren. 😀

@lifeofkatie Ah, gotcha. It’s always nice to have something in memory cause that way if someone comes along and sticks a guitar in your hand and says, “Hey. Randomly play something impressive,” you can do that. 😛 Which songs do you like to memorize? The few fingerstyle songs I have memorized are Fur Elise, the Swallowtail Jig, Misty Mountains,…[Read more]

@jess-penrose Ah, I haven’t read Children of Hurin yet. Maybe I’ll do that this summer. Is it good?
What? You learn elvish at school!!!!!! Mmmmm…now I’m jealous.
It’s…ah well, I’m not really sure which form. It’s from the Hobbit. I translated the inscription and pretty much just memorized the alphabet. I can’t speak it, though. I think I’ll…[Read more] -

@dragon-snapper I generally edit the book and start the next one at the same time. I like to have several projects going for that reason. I can brainstorm one, write a second, and edit a third. Of course, it doesn’t always work out that way. I’m rewriting two books right now, but as a general rule it works well for me. 😉

Hmmm…the only foils I can think of at the moment are Jane Eyre and Mr. Rochester. Similar people wanting the same thing (marrying each other, obviously), but he was willing to ignore morals and his conscience to obtain that goal, and she was not. What I like about them is that often times in books, it seems like the foil characters are right and…[Read more]

Okay, so it has come to my attention that my theme is not the Intrinsic Worth of Humanity—otherwise known as Racism, though I really didn’t want to admit that one to myself—but actually God’s Gifts (trying to find a better name, but my mind’s going blank), with a focusing question of What is the most important gift God has given us? Liriel’s…[Read more]
