That sounds cool! I admit I’m not good at fanfictions for that reason, because I don’t want to have to completely change a story, I guess. It’s cool that you can do that, though! The only fanfiction right now I’m co-authoring, but it’s a Wingfeather Saga fanfic so there wasn’t anything to really change XD

I guess the force could be considered as a sort of God figure. I think about it as putting the creation over the Creator, and obviously that’s not a good idea in writing lol.
Yep, the Celestial Phoenix is mine! I took such a long time deciding on it that the Phoenix doesn’t show up a whole lot in the beginning chapters- which, by the…[Read more]

Ok! Sounds good, maybe she can bump into our characters having a conversation in the common area 😉
Augghhh, I love Rina and Dune so much …
You wanna go?

That’s ok!! XD I love your new profile, by the way!
It’s fiction, but at the same time, you don’t want to ruin a good thing, as in God’s creation. It’s part of the reason I work with my own worlds, but I may not always do that.
Yeah, that makes sense!
Obviously, our world isn’t perfect… any futuristic world is going to be a lot…

@hybridlore @loopylin @whalekeeper
I’m just gonna start Rina off somewhere random lol… who knows, I might add other characters eventually, but I don’t know if I’ll try to juggle them yet XD my characters are a handful sometimes…
Let’s see if third person will work for Rina… I’ve never tried this, but we’ll see.
Rina
Rina awkwardly…[Read more]

Sorry this is kind of late, I forgot I had to go drop my brother off at camp… but I’m here now! XD

Yeah, me too ☺️
I’d have to think about it more probably, but right now I’ll say, Fawkes and a Time to Die would be cool, and Skyward by Brandon Sanderson.

I mean… they almost always make the movies worse than the books, soo…. idk if I wanna ruin any of my favorites

Enid replied to the topic The Chat Chat in the forum General Writing Discussions 3 years, 1 month ago
Definitely Fantastic Mr. Fox. The movie is a cinematic masterpiece, and I would argue it has loads more depth than the original tale.
I agree that the Harry Potter books are better than the movies, but I think the movies are still fun adaptations.

Ohh, I get it 😅
Anika
The boy shaped mass of liquid stretched with a gentle smile. “What did you say your name was?”
Anika stared at him. She’d seen aliens before, but not many, and not any like this boy. He seemed to be a blob of green slime, in the shape of any other boy. He even resembled Luca before he’…[Read more]

XD He’s kind of the classic “creepy, curious alien” character. He isn’t always this inhuman, though. Once you get to know him, he acts like a relatively normal kid.
Jem 2.0
“Jeremiah 2.0.”
Jem blinked curiously at her. He cocked his head to one side, and it seemed to melt towards the floor. His entire body followed – turning gooey…[Read more]

@whalekeeper I don’t really know what’s going on…
Anika
The boy slid backwards, without lifting his feet, almost as if he were levitating. Anika raised her eyebrows at him. Was it telekinesis, or did he have some sort of tool to did that?
“I am… from Earth, now,” the boy said, staring straight ahead.
“Okay…” Anika stepped back a lit…[Read more]

Jem 2.0
Jem felt like banging his head against the ship’s viewing window, but he was almost certain that would wobble his brains in the wrong way.
Instead, he automatically slid across the floor away from the girl, feet never moving, as if on a sheet of ice.
He stared at her from afar. “I am… from Earth, now.”
