Also guys, thanks for this. I was having an existential crisis over the amount of schoolwork I have this year, but this cheered me right up. Thank you.

Let’s go, boizzz
Marcel
Someone’s voice broke into Marcel’s revelation.
Brian – from lunch? – stood there, tough, strong, hand firmly placed on the Guardian’s shoulder. His eyes gleamed with a warrior’s euphoria. “Swordbrother.”
Marcel nodded.
Behind them, a girl – Bria…[Read more]

This shouldn’t affect your RP 😉
Girl… you hit a nerve this time. Congrats.
Marcel
If the kid even has…
A family…
Marcel was completely taken aback.
So much so, that he fell off his cloud, and to the floor, with a blunt oof.
As quickly as he could, he stood back up, tugging his hood over his pink hai…[Read more]

Hellooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Marcel
Marcel didn’t have to fight.
Calvin didn’t want him to, and he certainly would never let Marcel out of his sight again if this played out.
Besides, if these kids couldn’t stop getting into trouble, what was the point?
He had tried helping. He had taken care of Paxton, listened to th…[Read more]

He’s not omniscient – I just mean I’m writing it from my writerly, omniscient perspective, instead of from his point of view. 🙂

Eyes half closed, wings drooping, the young Guardian tapped the drums, listless.
He paused.

Wait a sec, this guy will help you take down Marcel if need be
Omniscient
He was a small, brown-skinned young man, with large, strangely white eyes.
The light pressed into visible lines around him – a halo, without variety or obviously shifting temperament, other than…[Read more]

Thank you girlie ❤️

You contribute to my pain.

Okay, I actually love this idea of designing candy wrappers and billboards and stuff. It would go amazingly with my overall Whaley Universe aesthetic…
It’s a plan.

Gotcha, I see 😉
I agree and am fully interested in literally everything you said XD And it is certainly interesting when magic acts on itself; I can’t say I’ve seen it too often, but I get what you’re going for.
@everyone
I had a kinda-idea once, branching off a book I once read – what if the magic was a being?…[Read more]

ooohhh, that would definitely make it more interesting.. i’m just wondering, how’s the reader going to know he is unreliable? It might come across as just too clear, like you said. I don’t know if you want that, or if you’ve got an idea to reveal he doesn’t really know what he wants…

Yep! Definitely. The Fault in Our Stars has some mature stuff I think, and that’s why I couldn’t read it, but I agree with that.

Nice idea, Miley!
I have never read The Fault in Our Stars. But I would like to point out that all art is valid in some form or another, even if it is not Christian, and we can still take inspiration from them and love them as beautiful things. There are many classics which were written by non-Christians, but speak of…[Read more]
