(warning: long post ahead. proceed with caution)
Some of you may have commented on my book blurb for book 1 of my trilogy Guardians of Airos. I appreciate your honest opinions very much, because it’s hard for me to step away from my work to see it for what it is, so getting outside input helped tons. But I’m sure if I’m going to write this idea…[Read more]

@bella-d And I’m thrilled you’re thrilled I know who those authors are! 🙂 Do you like Jeanne d’Albret because of reading the Chosen Daughters series? My favorite in that series was Margaret Wilson in Against The Tide.
Have you read any books by Lois Walfrid Johnson, Robert Elmer, or R. M. Ballantyne?
@notawriter and @daeus Thanks! My bra…[Read more]

@notawriter Mostly clothes. My sisters and I enjoy seeing things in catalogs or on the street and then re-creating them. I’ll admit out front, I’m a bit of a fashion geek.
@radically-surrendered Yay! I love piano. It takes commitment, but it will be worth it.

@rochellaine Thanks! I did notice. I’m thrilled you know who all those authors are too! I think they’re wonderful.
@radically-surrendered I love singing, and am currently learning how to play the piano. How about you?
@notawriter Thanks! I’m happy to be here. I like reading, sewing, crocheting and talking with my mom. But I think writing ranks…[Read more]

@jane-maree Yes, I’m am so bad at blurbs. I’ll keep working on it. Thank you for offering your help! ❤ I’ll keep working on it.
@notawriter At first it seems (and Taegan feels) that she’s all alone, but eventually one of the Guardians (Axel) becomes a good friend and another Guardian (Jada) does too, but hers happens more towards the end b…[Read more]

@radically-surrendered *eats all flavors of ice cream* I love them all, but vanilla and raspberry are my favorites.

@notawriter Yay! another INFP!! Nice to meet you. 😀 Yeah, it took me a long while to get into painting, but I haven’t really looked back since. 🙂
Um, may I ask if there’s a story behind your tag? XD I have to admit it intrigues me. Are you really not a writer?
Oh, and thanks for the welcome!

@gabbyj I agree with @princessfoo and @notawriter. But.
I have an addition. So, she believes the best about people. Is very cheerful and optimistic. But then something happens. Someone betrays her, or she leaves her safe, happy home and finds out just how scary a place the world is. Her worldview is entirely flipped. She now trusts no one, and…[Read more]

@notawriter There was actually another story I wrote that had quite a bit to do with the Danes, and I bought an edition of the Danish history. There was a lot of interesting things I read in that. Combining history and what is written in epic sagas (such as Beowolf, which I actually enjoyed) was interesting and quite fun. There was quite a bit of…[Read more]

@notawriter I do have part of her character arc planned out. It’s kinda different from what I’m used to. I do know that people with amnesia often have a change of personality and likes, and writing that while having people know her as she is now and others knowing how she was before is throwing me for a wee bit of a loop.
Turns out this story…[Read more]

@notawriter Some of my favorite shades of green are hunter and lincoln green. Mostly I really like the deep, rich shades of green. My lesser liked shades of green include neon green, pastel green, olive green, and throw-up green.
Now, on to the story. When I was little, and I mean about three or four, I liked green. If someone were to ask me my…[Read more]

@notawriter I’m currently writing two novels which takes up most of my time. Sadly the novel I hoped to publish first, which was the first in the trilogy, had some issues so I need to rewrite it, but I’m putting that off and working on a different novel.
Besides that, I’m collecting pictures to make calendars to sell. What do you like to take pictures of?

Rochellaine replied to the topic Comic Poems I Wrote in the forum Poetry 8 years, 3 months ago
@notawriter Well, I was kind of thinking along the lines of, A poem is a piece of writing, usually defined as something with rhyme and rhythm. Poetry has a much broader meaning, which includes something beautiful and elegant which appeals to the higher senses. My poems certainly do not do that! 🙂 So yes, technically you can’t say there’s a di…[Read more]
