@rochellaine They’re actually behaving rather well right now. A couple of them, that don’t trust each other, are about to have a heart-to-heart. We’ll see how that goes. At least I do have a mediating character, although I just revealed a really horrible moment in his otherwise unexciting backstory.

@skredder I’m editing my western, which is also going at a slower pace than I’d like. 🙂  However, my pace is not at all steady, so congratulations on that score. 😛

How are your characters behaving?

@rochellaine I’m working on Clouded Fury. It’s at a slower pace than I’d like, but it seems to be a steady pace. So, not too bad I guess. 🙂

Though writing slang isn’t as common, since most people tend to be more formal in writing than in speaking.

@seekjustice I really think it depends on when your character became deaf as to what slang he uses. If he was born deaf or became deaf really early I don’t think he would use a great deal of slang except any slang used by ASL users in particular. The later he became deaf the more he would use slang.

@jenwriter17 Well, she keeps trying to have panic attacks, and I can’t have her doing that because it slows the action down and makes her seem like an annoying character.  But every time I delete one panic attack or freak out session she just goes and has another!
