@dekreel Well, the only character I know of that’s called Victor is the guy from Despicable Me, but he called himself Vector, so I know it’s not him. 😛

You know when you’re a writer when you find a character/scene/plot that you like, and wonder how you can write your own without it seeming like you were copying it.

Louise Fowler replied to the topic Writing Letters Within a Book in the forum General Writing Discussions 8 years, 5 months ago
I don’t usually put letters in books, because I haven’t had the need to. 😛 But I would think that, if the letter wasn’t of much significant importance to the plot, then you might not even need to write out the letter in the story. You can tell in the narrative the character got a letter that day, maybe summarise the general basics of what it…[Read more]

XD Okay… lemme see if I understand you here. You thought that K became ‘evil’ like M, but then K wasn’t evil? And it confused you?

Emma Flournoy replied to the topic Jewelry Business Name in the forum Art 8 years, 5 months ago
@Shannon Eh, I’m too late. 😀 I was going to say though, I like the name a lot, but from seeing your jewelry I wouldn’t automatically think ‘Texas’; the name Texas Trinkets puts in my mind more kinda Western styles than what you do. So it doesn’t quite seem to fit all the stuff you do. I’m not saying change the name, but I was going to put it out…[Read more]

@that_writer_girl_99 Wow, it sounds really well-thought out, and a really good story!
@dekreel Exactly what you expect it to be, I believe – like Steampunk only with diesel (though I am more familiar with Steampunk, so I could be off).

@cindygreen yup. It’s @Daeus. I think he offered free ice cream for the right to the throne or something… there have been several attempted insurrections by a certain *cough* other Chosen One and her fellow insurgents, but thus far free ice cream has won out.

I know I am extremely late, and this topic is more than dead, but I just saw Rogue One tonight, and I wanted to give my 5-cents (we don’t have pennies here 😛 ).
While I don’t think it is my favourite in the Star Wars franchise, it was a pretty good movie. It was fun trying to “connect the dots” as it were, see where each part added up and…[Read more]
