@bluejay, do you know why the king does not desire the position of king anymore? Maybe your book could revolve around him trying to find a worthy successor? (contest,etc.) Is there a back story? (Like he is being forced to step down, but he doesn’t tell anyone about it?) Just trying to throw things out there… 🙂

@bluejay, my mom had me do this with some of my spelling lists too! (Home-schooled!) I am interested, but it might take me a few days to write it. 🙂

@gretald, Oh yes, I’m a big fantasy-lover! It’s so hard to find clean fantasy without lots of dark magic though! 🙁 As for Chuck Black, his second series for youth is the best. I think its “The Knights of Arrethrae.”) Have you read The Silmarillion by Tolkien? I was contemplating reading that next…
