@bella-d My absolute favorite genre is Historical Fiction!  I have had a bit of trouble writing in that genre, though.  I write mostly modern fiction (is there a name for that genre?).

@mnvalentine Welcome to the forum! I stalked the forum for a week before I joined. You play fiddle? I used to play violin, I didn’t do a whole lot of fiddling, though. Those take quick thinking! I’m into photography, too! How on earth do you go about photographing squirrels??

@mnvalentine Belated welcome!! We have really similar taste in books. I LOVE Les Mis and A Tale of Two Cities, and Narnia and LOTR. I really didn’t like Pyle’s stories though, I thought he wrote too old fashioned for me too understand properly 😀

@mnvalentine At the moment, I’m writing fantasy too. It’s great stuff! 😀 I consider myself a genre hopper though. I’ve written historical fiction and time travel in the past. I have six fantasy books planned for right now, but once I’m done with those I’ll probably try a biblical fiction trilogy and then who knows what.
