Dante
“I, uh…” He unwrapped the old and looked at his stitches. Sure enough, one was torn open. He used the wadded up old bandage to stop the bleeding, and took the new bandages from Leo. “How long was I asleep, Rory?”

They ate for a bit in silence. Dante finished his sandwich, and was surprised to find that he was full. That was not something that he experienced very often. He sat back and sipped contentedly on his tea, almost wanting to doze off again. Instead, he sat up after a bit,…[Read more]

Read Woodhouse.

Dante
“Don’t have money.” Dante shrugged. That wasn’t the only reason, but he didn’t feel the need to explain himself.

Cool! Those don’t seem too specific to your characters so I can choose what works.

@whalekeeper have every couple dynamic I have:
(no idea if this what you mean but I just wanted to rant about this)
- One is a bowl of sunshine and the other seems like EDGY INCARNATE until you realize he’s just really traumatized (Feather and Crosshair)
- Two somewhat-neglected idiots who honestly BOTH need therapy but think being with each…

fun fact: my family went to New Hampshire/Maine in December as a Christmas trip, and we saw geese. We kept a good distance away from them.

Hey anyone, I need interesting romantic couple ideas/tropes! I’m writing something that features a bunch of couples for plot reasons (almost every character interaction takes place in a group because of the setting), and I want to have as many interesting dynamics as possible, but my brain’s not working right now.
It’s supposed to be a very fanci…[Read more]

Lucille
“I can try making it but I’m better at dove noises. City ducks make rough noises and they’re always tryin’ to talk over each other, so they get loud. L-Listen.”
Lucy pointed at one of the ducks. When it quacked, she made a similar sound, but scratchier and sharper. She was instantly aware of how weird she seemed, but tried to…[Read more]
