@mark-kamibaya I understand that MBTI isn’t completely real. Like what Jess Penrose was saying, we can’t be put into a mold of one type of person or the next. Besides, I could never understand it for my characters. It really only told me whether he was an extrovert or an introvert.

LOl, @mark-kamibaya, you’re super brave. That is an interesting article, though none of the points seem very substantial at all except the lack of publicized research in journals. That’s a big problem, though I’d be interested to hear what the MBTI community says about it.
The five-factor model also looks interesting. I’d like to know more about…[Read more]

Coolio, after all, humans are complex beings of God’s design. We hardly fit exactly into a mould.@mark-kamibaya

Hm, that’s rather interesting. I guess the main thing I use it for though is to get a rough overview of people on a first viewing, and for characters. As with most things that are in relation to psychology, it must be looked at open mindedly, and not used to label people, cos I’m sure everyone agrees that they don’t fit 100% to their, ‘type’. But…[Read more]

You know, @mark-kamibaya , I especially liked what you said about the overused proper-noun. I almost did that this morning, then remembered reading this. 😛
The Dark One shall plunge the Earth into the Darkness, the Disease which has penetrated the Protective Orb of Time since it was created by the King.
Oh dear. -

Hey KeePers!
You should have gotten an email about this last night, but I just wanted to make sure everyone was aware of our fourth panel discussion that’s happening this upcoming Monday on self-publishing and writing.
In short, we have three self-published authors (Kim Vandel, Rachel Rittenhouse, and Jeannette DiLouie) who are going to be on…[Read more]

@mark-kamibaya I’m floored! THANK YOU!!!!! I am going to delve into these as soon as I can! And…wow. Your picture descriptions make so much sense. *throws confetti around because this is so helpful and exciting and I’m so grateful!* Clearly I have some study to do. Thanks @kate-flour boy for tagging Mark, who I will now associate with plot forever! 😉

…However, I’m in the small percentage of people who can’t suspend their disbelief without questioning the abilities of the robot’s creator. In my opinion, ideal robots would have as many dimensions as any real human being. Unfortunately, popular storytellers resort to charm rather than realism.

@BethanySinkyRoses welp, the resources you already have are great. I learned the hard way— trial, error, and observation 😛 — so I don’t have any others to suggest, but let me tag a few of our more *cough* knowledgeable members and see if they have any suggestions for you.

Hey all,
One of our goals for this year is to better cultivate our forum community.
