Ah! This is too good to be true.
No, @kate-flournoy, I actually said it in all seriousness. I’m currently enraptured by lily pads. And–not as a symbol of salvation. You see, I’m seeing them looking in from the water towards the bank close to water level with a bright piercing sunshine and full summer foliage all about. The lily pads are in a…[Read more]

@Graciegirl but it’s a paradox! Something so beautiful from something so hideous! It’s a picture of salvation!
(Don’t you dare say anything about frogs. I’m working on a theory that will have them symbolize the evil influences of the world). -

@that_writer_girl_99 If you were wise, you would realize that the lily pads are more to be desired. I still haven’t gotten over the sublimity of lily pads. I can’t believe such a deep symbolic image came to my head.

@that_writer_girl_99 *cough**cough* One does like to be somewhat… discreet. 😉 Can’t scare away all our test subjects on the first day, can we?

@Daeus hear hear. Pity one can’t be both… but if I have to choose it’s poet hands down. All human beings function on emotions. How many normal people are going to want to follow the convoluted explanations of an intellectual?
@GracieGirl yup. I may be way too slightly in love with my personality type. -_o

@kate-flournoy Very true. I love being a poet. Here’s to hearts, and ice cream, and lily pads and other such things.

@Northerner this almost happened to me several times. Mostly because I type so fast and I accidentally hit ctrl. a (which highlights all) instead of ctrl. s (which saves) and kept going before the command processed and ended up replacing my entire document (800 pages, 500,000 words, and two years’ worth of work) with those few words I’d typed……[Read more]

@graciegirl Well, I like being an F, but it’s just funny because I’ve traditionally thought of myself as an intellectual. It wasn’t until just a couple years ago that I realized that wasn’t exactly on spot. It was my high school teacher. She was an INFP. One day, out of the blue, she looked at me with a sense of deep perception and said, “You’re a…[Read more]

@Northerner Ugh, that’s horrible. 🙁 You’re definitely not overreacting; my computer once crashed on me and I thought I’d lost my entire book (which wasn’t backed up, for some reason), so I certainly sympathize. Gosh, I feel so bad for you. Hopefully rewriting it won’t be too depressing.
