As I mentioned in the last homework, I think another big theme in the entire story is trust, not just overcoming the odds. This is also part of a trilogy for which we’ve got a basic idea for all three books. At this point, overcoming the odds is the main theme for the first book, and you mentioned to Jess she should create her arc with all three…[Read more]

@mariposa Yeah, it would be good incentive – or you’d starve… XD
Would you rather write a book you love but everyone else dislikes, or write a book you dislike but everyone else loves?Something I like, because it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks 😉
@dragon-snapper Yeah, I hate not being able to sleep.
Would you rather listen to hard…[Read more] -

@jane-maree @that_writer_girl_99 I’m going too. I’m happy to say I got absolutely nothing done except a hole in my wall from bashing my head into it. I think I’ll make a window there.

@DaughteroftheKing in fact… you said something really good that I want to elaborate on, because you hit on an entirely different aspect of the discussion. Without meaning to, I think, but now you know. 😀
See, you can have the most contradictory and duplicitous character in the world and still have them fall utterly flat. They have to live and…[Read more] -

@ethryndal Yeah, I’m beginning to wonder if you may be able to handle this easier if you had a slightly-different theme and focusing question. “God’s Gifts” may work better as a complementary theme to a different primary theme that’s slightly broader to be able to handle more of these different themes. Something like “the highest value in life”…[Read more]

Does that mean it’s a wisdom issue and sometimes we should value the heart over what we know is right? Does it mean that we should always value what we know is right over the heart? Or is there a complimentary relationship between heart…[Read more]
