  • @emily Possibly. But I don’t even really know what the other buttons do. 😛

  • @emily Really wants to mess with the last five green buttons XD

  • I don’t know about the rest of you, but this whole page is showin’ up weird on my screen. 😛

  • Um; what happened to this thread? O.o I have never seen a thread show up like this before.

  • Nope, didn't fix.

  • @TheLiteraryCrusader lol!

Now let me see if I fixed something here…

  • And… wow. That did something really wonky.

  • @Aratrea @TheLiteraryCrusader okay, do either of you know what the last five buttons after img are for? They just seem to have done weird things with indents… any clue what the actual abbreviations on the buttons stand for?

No hurry. Just be good to know. 😛

  • @Christi-Eaton I really need to read something by that Peterson guy sometime… Or both of them, as the case may be. What’s A.S. Peterson’s A name? But Andrew Peterson, author of the W. Saga, is the guy with all the great songs, right?

@cloudy @daughteroftheking I’ve been trying to do some little sketches but unfortunately I haven’t had time for much. I’ve been really busy with midterms and papers, and October’s turned into a super hectic month. But I bought copic markers though, and have had a lot of fun trying to figure out techniques with them 🙂 I’ll post a couple for you I…[Read more]

  • @dekreel Diana Wynne Jones wrote Howl’s Moving Castle and A.S. Peterson is actually Andrew’s brother. And A.S. Peterson’s wife is Jennifer Trafton. 🙂 So there, Peterson family tree for ya 😉

You guys can ignore this post. I’m just trying to figure out some of the settings on here.

  • @sleepwalkingmk Yeah–it’s funny how that works. I wonder at times if it’s God’s way of showing us that we /aren’t/ self-sufficient. Even to change who we are and pursue greater sanctification, we need His work in external circumstances to be shaping us into the people he’s called us to be. That’s a great example of how God’s done so in your own life!

  • @sleepwalkingmk Hey! Glad to see you’re able to work through this again. 🙂 That character arc looks good. I don’t normally recommend going for three at once, but those form a pretty natural progression there that should work decently well. I’ll look forward to seeing how you expand that in the next homework exercise.

    For children’s lit lovers,
The Rise and Fall of Mount Majestic by Jennifer Trafton
The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart.
Henry and the Chalk Dragon Also by Jennifer Trafton and I highly, highly recommend it if you love to read something incredibly well written and witty and lots of…[Read more]

  • @Dekreel honestly and unfortunately, no. You could outline your novel from the beginning (before you ever write anything) but that still won’t ensure that your story idea won’t change as you were writing it. In fact, it probably will, and that’s a good thing because it means your story is alive.

    I’m a perfectionist too. I think I would have been…[Read more]
