@seekjustice Thanks so much for your advice, it makes sense. I’ll try to focus more on what my story needs instead of what I want 😀

I’m going on a critiquing/beta/alpha reading hiatus! (once I finished reading for Ingridrd, Seekjustice, and Skredder that is). These upcoming months are just going to be so busy. I’ll let y’all know when I’m available for reading again. 😉 I might make exceptions once in a while for really short critiques.

@ingridrd I’d be glad to critique this 🙂
But, y’all, this’ll be my last critique/beta/alpha reading job for a while. The upcoming months are going to be pretty busy (a few trips out of town, getting my WIP ready for an editor at Realm Makers, my equestrian team season starting, beginning a blog). I’ll finished reading for @skredder and @seekjusti…[Read more]

@Jenwriter17 pretty much just throwing in all the subplots and more try-fail sequences will fill out your plot a lot more.

@catwing oh, good to know 😉
Rin would probably rather be deaf. Not sure why though.
would your character rather be duct taped to a plane mid flight or jump into Niagara Falls? Yeah this total random craziness 😜

Jenna Terese replied to the topic Would You Rather Character Edition in the forum Characters 8 years ago
@skredder My character (Rin) would probably rather fly. Since she lives in the city, it would come in handy 🙂

Hi, all. I have a question: How do you all write books that are so long?! It seems all my books turn out to be novella length. I know a lot of people like a short book, but I really want to write a novel length book. Is there something I’m doing wrong that prevents me from doing this?
