@EvangelinaTroy_Rose Hello Karina. *waves* We heard about that from Celia Craig…I was praying for y’all then too. And you know, it’s cliche to say this, but it’s good Ian isn’t hurting anymore; he’s better There.
I hope your family is doing well. 🙂What do you like to write?

@Dragon-snapper oh yay! That’s great. 😀 *mushroom clouds of confetti*
I actually got an email of a new chapter from one of the works I’m critiquing, so I did that. (And goodness did that make me a mess of feels. xP) And then I got a nice bit of plotting happening and I’m almost finished too! 🙂 -

@Dragon-snapper you should totally check it out. *casually drops link* Camp NaNoWriMo

Jane Maree replied to the topic Writer's Corner #4 in the forum General Writing Discussions 9 years, 1 month ago
@dragon-snapper Camp NaNoWriMo. It’s like the November NaNo only cooler because you can set your own word count goals to whatever you’re comfortable with and there’s virtual cabins and yas it’s a lot of fun. Have you heard of it?

@Dragon-Snapper you can count me in! *hurries to go plot for Camp NaNo*

@Audrey-Caylin *flails* THANK YOU!!! -day made- I will keep you in mind. 😀
*still can’t stop grinning* That sounds great! I’m hoping to do it via google doc, so yep, something like that. It’s going to be terrifying but so cool when I get there.
Thank you! I did actually get some plot stuff done, and it was great talking also. 🙂

@Audrey-Caylin eeek yes it will be. *hides* I’ve never gotten this far before. I’m hoping that maybe by the end of May I might have it ready for a couple of alphas. (phrasing it like that is making me think of wolf packs now xD)
Ooh okie so I’m going to be super professional and give you the synopsis…aka random bunch of words that I desperately…[Read more]

@Audrey-Caylin *high-fives back* Yayyy. I sure hope so. The funniest thing is that the other two books – the characters actually fail at the story goal, and the situation just gets worse and worse. So by bok three I suddenly stopped and thought “WAIT. I have to make them win??? NOOO HOW AM I MEANT TO ACTUALLY DEFEAT THIS BAD GUY???” Luckily I have…[Read more]

@Audrey-Caylin, oh yep! I rather enjoy plotting -most of the time- also. Except for the few times when a) I simply want to flop on the floor and give up or b) I’m freaking out because it’s the finale of my trilogy and I just can’t get it wrong because it’s so important.
Nice. 😛 The feedback I often get is “Why, Jane…Why?” Actually, it’s often…[Read more] -

@Audrey-Caylin yep something to do with words. 😛
At this stage I’m plotting, so let’s see how long that lasts. 😀 -

@Audrey-Caylin I’ll be plotting/alpha reading/editing/who know what I”ll actually end up doing. XD

Hey everybody, if you remember the homeschool mom I talked about on page 8 of this topic—Mrs. Keusal—she had a cancerous brain tumor… Well, the treatment hasn’t helped, and the tumor grew back, bigger; she’s gotten worse. It’s really dangerous, and she and her family are having a bit of a rough time. Any prayers still would be a great…[Read more]

Hey @Jess, how’s your dad and his eyes doing?

Emma Flournoy replied to the topic Rogue One in the forum General Writing Discussions 9 years, 1 month ago
Then Vader started choking him. In that scene, I was almost rooting for Krennic.
Me too! But even if there’s a good villain, you can still root against him. I know plenty of villains who I think are totally awesome villains, but I still root against them. (Sometimes. Lots of the time.)

@winter-rose I’ve got to go now, unfortunately. *salutes* I got quite a bit written/plotted/researched but now duty calls me elsewhere. Thanks for the company! 😀

@emma-flournoy, thanks for asking 🙂 He is doing much better. He does have to get one more minor cataract surgery as a result of the bubble they put in after surgery, but that isn’t a big deal. Thanks for praying! 🙂
I’m really happy to hear that.
Oh, and I forgot to ask also—has he found another job?
He started one two weeks ago 🙂 However, it isn’t the ideal fit, so he’s still looking around. It is much better than his last job, though. 🙂
Whoohoo! I do hope he finds a perfect fit though.
Thanks!
