@nataliemarie Welcome to the bestistest place on the internets! (I’ll say it even if others have.) 😛
I’m the other dragon on here, and I breathe fire quite often. *looks pointedly at @kate-flournoy* I’ll tell you quite honestly that chairs and phones are quite fun to melt. But I’ll be nice and spare yours.
So, regardless of chairs and melting…[Read more] -

@bluejay @jess @daeus @kate-flournoy @winter-rose @hope @overcomer
Hello? Yes, I’d like to make an order to write? I’ll aim for a couple thousand words, maybe I’ll be here for an hour or so, who knows. I’m hoping others will join.
Alright, thank you, goodbye.
*hangs up phone and settles down to write* -

@writefury Blazing Barnacles!!!
@daeus You asked me earlier…
“My qeustion is–is it the same thing to have a character swear as to do it yourself? Then, if so, is it also wrong to have an innocent person die in your story?”No, I don’t think it’s the same thing, but people who aren’t Christians might see it another way. We are to…[Read more]

@daeus On concern of replacement words, just use things that people might say that fits their personality. So, if a villain were saying it, he’d probably use something closer to ‘rats’ or something like that. If a hero were saying it, he’d probably end up saying ‘Grumpy giraffes.’
Sure thing, @daeus. 😀

“”2. What words are you using? The D-word, or something worse? I would say that the D-word is the one word that is the least bad of all the cuss words that exist (not saying that it’s right, but that it is not as terrible as saying the S-word or something). “”

@daeus I worked on a character map and wrote half of a notebook page description of a certain setting or another. Mostly, I was actually on the course-language topic. Woops. 😛 And good job! Glad its coming back!
@jess @bluejay I’m still going for a bit. I need to get something productive done, like plot… -

@kate-flournoy That is true. I suppose that one would say about a favorite desert, “This is heavenly,” that makes sense. Then it just goes back to Romans 14.
About what @winter-rose said. Yes, we need to be careful; and this too, we need to be sensitive to whom our audience is. Children don’t need their heads in that stuff. Teens don’t need to be…[Read more] -
