@daeus Pretty much, I agree with everything you said about the characters, except how they got better at the end. Because I couldn’t connect in the first place, it was really hard to do so in the final battle. And actually, I don’t really like the movie either, so yeah…you’re not alone.
Also, I found the previews completely misleading, so maybe…[Read more]

You know you’re a writer when you spend most of your time staring at the ceiling, hoping the roof will cave in and crack your computer screen.

@emily-d Basically, science fiction is what it says: fictionalized science. Sometimes you don’t have to read a lot of that genre to write that genre (although it is a good idea). Reading a bunch of books won’t make you a master. A person could read tons of books and still not know anything. If you do your research and do your best work, it won’t…[Read more]

*stares at dinner* This is inhuman! I demand that the food be burned before someone get hurt! I won’t be forced to eat it! *parents stare at Calvin*

@graceofspades2017 Ah yes, the Wingfeather saga. I’ve read The Dark Sea of Darkness, but never managed to get the other two from the library. (This is what happens when you rely on your sister for library books. She will undoubtedly forget. 🙂 ) It wasn’t my favoritest book ever, (I thought the characters could do with a little more development)…[Read more]

@graceofspades2017 Heh, yeah, bestistest is a thing. Don’t ask me how it got started, because we’ve all tried to figure that out at least once and never succeeded. 🙂

HURRAH! I don’t know anyone who’s read THC either. (At least, I don’t think I do…) I haven’t read any of his other books yet, but my aunt just lent me most of them. I’m finishing…[Read more]

@dragon-snapper Uh-oh…you’ve admitted the Forbidden Phrase. 😉

@kate-flournoy Ah…
So, why do you think that the character and relationship was good? I can’t see any arc really, for either of the characters. I can’t see them as great characters, really. And what was the theme?
(perhaps you might notice that I don’t really *cough*like*cough*Rogue*cough*One*coughcough*)

@graceofspades2017 Um…a dragon snapper is me. I’m not really sure what it does, because I’ve never personally met another dragon face to face. You see, as we talk here, there’s a computer screen between us. 😛
AAAAHHH! Storks is the bestest movie ever. Great movie.
I haven’t seen Earth to Echo, though.
My favorite movie??? Oh boy. I always…[Read more]

@kate-flournoy I’m curious. Why do you like Rogue One?

@mark-kamibaya I did like it. I thought it was very simple without being boring. Because I tend to overthink things, the simplicity of a movie, without having to have Marvel-like chases and things like that. What did you think of it?

@graceofspades2017 Greetings, fellow dragon! Always nice to see more dragons. What type of dragon are you? I’m a dragon snapper. There’s really only one of those. 😛 Oh yeah, try not melt people. Very important. Sometimes I melt chairs and phones, but hey, whatever works. 😛
What’s your favorite movie?

@graceofspades2017 Welcome to the bestistest place on the internet! (GUYS. I said it first!!! I”m so proud of myself.)

I think I’ve seen you hanging around the art topic. Your stuff is very cool. And since you’re a dragon, I recommend talking to @dragon-snapper. (She’s our forum Security Dragon.) The rules are simple: No melting people.…[Read more]

@kate-flournoy @graciegirl @winter-rose Thanks guys.

@dragon-snapper Ah, cool! Yeah, I use reference pictures too. Mostly with architecture and stuff. I used to need them with people too, but after much trial and error and studying, I think I’ve gotten their shading down pretty well.

I would like to add: I’ve been following all the art on the Art Exchange thingy, and it’s incredible how much your…[Read more]

See guys, KP is infecting the world, one ice cream cone at a time. Never have I been happier.
@dragon-snapper

@dragon-snapper Hey, I might try my hand at your character, if I find time. What’s her name?

@winter-rose I am not pestered. 😛 I know I’m taking forever about it. Now that I’ve finished school I should have more time to work on it, and I plan to try. Sorry it’s taking forever.
