What, may I ask, A writer’s biggest fears? Any Fears, or what a writer finds courage in? It can be anything, tangible or intangible: writer’s block, failures or success, ladybugs? -

@Kate-Flournoy Yeah, Edwin was pretty interesting and oh, so mysterious! But, right…no spoilers, ahem.
@Daeus You want to be like Rameaux, eh? I assume you mean charming, clever and hilarious, not a highwayman, right? 😛 😀 I didn’t end up reading it to my siblings, not bc of content, but I would’ve only been able to read with them for maybe an…[Read more] -

@daeus Okay, so, it’s 3:30 a.m. where I live. Aaaaaand, I just finished Edwin Brook. Oh. My. Goodness. Yeah, that about sums up my feelings at the moment. That was brilliant. P.S. Rameaux was my favorite. 😀

@Kate-Flournoy Siri is the Apple iPhone and iPad personal assistant. The voice that comes on when you hold the phone’s home button down. 😉

@Kate-Flournoy Once a day you get a text from an unknown number. All it contains is a picture, a picture of you. One of you heading into the supermarket, one of you driving away from your friends, and then one day…….
Dialogue prompt: “‘Siri, define scintillating.’
‘Scintillating means: sparkling or shining brightly….If you ever want to see…[Read more] -

I’ve only been here a short while myself, but I promise this place does not dissapoint! 😀 I love the Chronicles of Narnia as well,(you’d be crazy not to, right? 😛 ) but I’ve never read the Count of Monte Cristo. : / I’ll have to look into it. Cool thing with the character cameos! That’s…[Read more]

@kate-flournoy Ah; good question. Yes, I’m just trying to exclude the characteristic moment, mash moments, midpoint, and resolution scenes. Any other scene is fine!

@r-j-wordsmith Welcome to the site–glad you’ve found us! I have seven younger siblings and was likewise homeschooled so it sounds like we have a similar background. 😉 And excellent choice with Count of Monte Cristo there. My favorite book is probably a tie between that and Brothers Karamazov.
